Excellent place to sleep and relax after a steep ascent to the summit of Whiteface.
Pros:

Comfortable bed, very clean ,panoramic view of Whiteface mountain and two friendly dogs who like to be closed to you.

It is a good place if you want to visit both Ausable Chasm and lake Placid.
Pros:

The young guy at the front desk was really kind, and we arrived at our stay past check-in time, and they were able to accommodate us! The room was a bit outdated, especially the bathroom, but otherwise the room was spacious.

Cons:

We did NOT get housekeeping, and only after the stay, when I asked why we did not get our room cleaned, they said that it is "on demand", which was NOT mentioned in the booking nor at the beginning of our stay :( ! The rooms were NOT soundproof, so you can hear people in the next rooms and outside. We had to wait a very long time to get warm water in the shower.

A very nice stay.
Pros:

The views are fabulous, the hotel is nice and quiet, and the rooms are really spacious. Everything is very clean.

Cons:

I would have appreciated a small café on the premises, although there was a coffee machine with capsules in the room.

We’ll definitely be back there. Enjoyed my day. And staff was just so nice.

Tons of space in the front to hang out
The balcony was great
Room was spacious, and I felt so cozy

Cons:

I am not a fan of Harwood floors. Unless I have a vacuum. Since we come in and Out we leave her. That’s practically it but other than that room was great.

We had a wonderful time visiting the area and I would come back to this location. It’s in the perfect location close to

The location, the owners were so nice and loved the music played during the day, the view was wonderful, loved the family dogs!!

Cons:

One mattress was a little uncomfortable, felt old and warn out, the room was damp but really can’t help that considering the environment. We did have ants in the room.

Perfect for and affordable convenient place to stay with beautiful views.
Pros:

We loved Roger the host! We also loved all of the vintage items throughout the property and the great room. The outside lean two and the campfires around were cool. We had room number 20, which has a little kitchenette and living room and that was really nice. We came up for the IronMan and loved it.

Cons:

I think the rooms could use a little bit more cleaning and sprucing up but overall we were very comfortable and we would stay there again

Perfect
Pros:

Loved how friendly and accommodating the owner was, my son made good friends with him during our stay. I personally loved the antiques and theme of the resort. Their hospitality was second to none and it was a phenomenal place to stay.

Superbe endroit pratique pour la randonnée!
Pros:

Nous avons adoré l'emplacement pour aller faire de la randonnée et aller à Lake Placid. Très facile de s'y rendre.

Quel accueil de Rodger et ses fils qui étaient tous très accueillants, aidants et sympathiques!

Nous avons été confortables dans la chambre, les lits étaient bien, la climatisation fonctionnait bien aussi!

Merci pour tout!!!

Nous aurions apprécié une planche à découper, des verres, des tasses (autre que celles en plastiques), un éplucheur et une râpe.
