New Memnon Hotel

Unfassbar gute Lage. Man ist direkt im Tal der Könige und auch so relativ schnell bei allen restlichen Tempeln. Die Zimmer waren super sauber und das Personal unfassbar zuvorkommend. Der Eigentümer hat uns super Tipps gegeben und war sehr zuvorkommend. Das Essen war ebenfalls sehr lecker und auch toll lokal.

Location is closer to the balloons valley of the kings etc so not close to the luxur temple or karnat temple. You have to choose your priorities.

Sehr sauberes und schönes Hotel mit einem traumhaften Innenhof, der wie ein kleines Paradies wirkt. Freilaufende Kaninchen und Vogelgesang machen die Atmosphäre besonders. Die Lage ist erstklassig, direkt am Tal der Könige und ganz in der Nähe der Tempel. Das Restaurant serviert unglaublich leckeres Essen, mitunter das Beste, das ich auf meiner gesamten Ägyptenreise gegessen habe. Ein rundum empfehlenswertes Hotel mit ehrlicher Gastfreundschaft!

Das Hotel hat eine außerordentlich gute Lage: Beispielsweise ist der Habu-Tempel fußläufig erreichbar. Auch der Karnak-Tempel, der Luxor-Tempel und das Tal der Könige sind mit einer kurzen Autofahrt erreichbar. Vom Dach des Hotels hat man einen direkten Blick auf die Gräber der Noblen, eine weitere Sehenswürdigkeit. Außerdem liegt das Hotel in einer sicheren, ruhigen Gegend. Die Lage könnte wirklich nicht besser sein.

Zudem verfügt das Hotel über einen wunderschönen, grün bepflanzten Innenhof, in dem man sich einfach nur wohlfühlen kann. Dort gibt es Sitzgelegenheiten und sogar einen Pool. Es fehlt einem wirklich an nichts.

Die Zimmer und Bäder sind sehr sauber, und es gibt einen Zimmerservice. Generell sind die Angestellten und vor allem der Besitzer Sayd sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Sayd hat bei Bedarf sehr gute Tipps für Unternehmungen und Geschäfte. Hier profitiert man eindeutig von seiner Erfahrung und seinem Netzwerk.

Hervorheben möchte ich zum Schluss noch das außerordentlich gute Essen. Hier wird sehr viel Wert darauf gelegt, und man erhält eine authentische ägyptische Erfahrung auf höchstem Niveau. Wir hatten zu keinem Zeitpunkt irgendwelche Zweifel, was die Qualität oder die Hygiene des Essens betrifft. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen waren außerordentlich gut.

Wenn man möchte, kann man hier auch speziell nach traditionell ägyptischem Essen fragen und so wirklich die volle Erfahrung erhalten.

Insgesamt war das Hotel jeden Cent wert. Ich würde es unbedingt weiterempfehlen und werde bei Gelegenheit auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Auch die Preise für das Essen sind absolut im Rahmen. Wir waren alle Studenten, und preislich hat es für uns wirklich gepasst.

Ich freue mich sehr, hier die Bestbewertung abgeben zu können.

オーナーはじめスタッフがとても親切で困ったことがあるとかないとか言う前に向こうから声かけしてくれます笑

色んな口コミにもあるように、私も一人旅でしたが、オーナーがいつも声かけしてくれるので全く寂しくありませんでした。
ホテルが西側にあるので東側の神殿やマーケットにいくには車をアレンジしてもらわなければなりませんでした。
結果こちらで手配してもらったドライバーが1番良かったです。エクスペディアでツアーも予約しましたが、か微妙な感じでした。特別高額でもないのでオーナーにお願いするのがいいような気がします。
オーナーは日本人が好きなので日本人に是非きてもらいたいとのことです。食事はここのレストランでほぼ食べました。近辺にあるbalady レストランもとても美味しかったので食事は困りませんでした。
朝には気球が沢山とんでるのが窓からみることができて綺麗でしたよ。

Die ruhige Lage mit Pool und der guten Ausstattung. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und immer um uns bemüht. Vom netten Besitzer wurden wir sehr herzlich begrüßt und wunderbar beraten. Er war immer da und hat uns auch schon vor dem Aufenthalt wichtige Informationen und Tipps gegeben.

We stayed at Hotel New Memnon for four nights, and I truly have nothing but praise for all the staff and the owner! They really made us feel right at home. The cleanliness, the food, the staff, everything was 5-star service! You won't regret staying here! thank you! Wish you the best Sayed! :)

Sayed the owner and his team were incredible. They understood our needs and requests and attended to them all. I wished I did the hot air balloon with him. His costs were reasonable. He is very respectable and his team very kind and humble. We enjoyed the tasty meals. Reasonable prices and good quantity. Breakfast was incredible. Many home made delicacies. Sayed arranged a car to take us to Hurghada within a few hours. He was so kind and helpful. I would recommend his establishment to all Travellers from abroad if u are visiting the valley of the kings and the valley of the queens and want to do a hot air balloon. Please use his establishment. He exceeds expectations. Hotel nicely decorated.

Excellent service by the staff, comfortable room, nice swimming pool, large breakfast and the dinner was very good too. I had a great experience here!

Le patron Sayed d'une gentillesse avant notre réception chauffeur privé il nous as attendue pour nous amener a hôtel hôtel situé a 120 mètres des colosse de memon.
Sayed le moindre service il le fait sans problème hôtel un havre de paix on ce sens comme chez nous c'est calme les mots confortables Petit frigo pour mettre des boissons je me suis sentie comme chez moi nous sommes partie a 4h30 du matin Sayed nous. Prépare le PTI déjeuner a emporter en forme de box nous sommes rester 3 nuits si je doit revenir a Louxor c'est dans cet établissement tous et a proximité restaurant p'tite boutique eau boisson et les temples funéraire a visité.

Sayed, the owner, made everything to his power to make our stay as comfortable. The hotel is clean and breakfast is great.

We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel and couldn’t have wished for a better experience.
Sayed is an absolutely amazing host and went above and beyond to make our stay special. When we weren’t feeling well, he even drove us to the pharmacy and made sure we had everything we needed. He also surprised us with the most beautiful birthday celebration, which made the day incredibly special. We couldn’t have imagined it any better.
The food was delicious, and the breakfast was fantastic. Very generous, with freshly squeezed orange juice and everything you could wish for in the morning.
The location is also perfect for exploring the West Bank, with the Colossi of Memnon and the Valley of the Kings nearby.
Thank you so much to the whole lovely team for your incredible hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. We had the best time and will definitely come back!

L’emplacement est excellent que ce soit pour les visites côté est ou ouest du Nil. Le personnel est extrêmement sympathique et le propriétaire est aux petits soins et nous a permis de faire tout ce que nous souhaitions en nous faisant bénéficier des meilleurs services (felouque, guide pour les visites et voiture avec chauffeur, transfert aéroport…) La piscine est top et très propre. Le jardin très jolie et très agréable. Un havre de paix. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et la nourriture du restaurant est très bonne. Le ménage est impeccable et la literie est super confortable . Bref, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Nous avons pu avoir l’hôtel pour nous pendant 2 jours. La piscine est incroyable

L’hôtel est très bien situé à proximité des sites au calme ( un jardin incroyable )et le propriétaire et son équipe ont été très gentils et au petit soin avec nous

Soggiorno perfetto in ogni minimo dettaglio. La struttura è pulitissima e curata con grande stile. Vista panoramica sui colossi di Memnone. Il Proprietario è stato di una gentilezza e disponibilità uniche, facendoci sentire subito a casa e soddisfacendo ogni nostra esigenza. Colazione ricca, varia e di altissima qualità. Cibo ottimo, piscina piacevole. Non vedo l'ora di tornare!

Location was great, close to the Valley of the Kings so we could get there before the crowd in the morning (great view from the rooftop also) but not isolated. You can find a few small supermarkets and restaurants within 5min walk, and I felt safe walking by myself in that area.
Large room, comfortable, everything looked clean and modern, A/C worked fine.
Sayed the owner was fantastic, he helped us organize our trip (at fair prices, guides/drivers were great), he was on top of everything, and handling every single request very quickly (his wife even prepared some spices I couldn't find at the supermarket, just for us!).
It was great to have a swimming pool in those hot summer days, it was very clean.
It was also very convenient to have a restaurant at the hotel (they do not overcharge you, it's the same price as other restaurants outside, and the food is good, try the Muhammara dip, it's delicious!).

Mr. Sayed is the heart and soul of this hotel. He makes the stay worth every penny. There may be more expensive hotels from big chains in Luxor, but staying at a locally-owned hotel who cares deeply about showing all of Luxor’s beauty and ensuring you have the best experience possible is all what Mr. Sayed and New Memnon is about. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel all the nights and the food was delicious. The room was very comfortable and although we didn’t use the pool it looked very nice to be able to lounge on the sun chairs. The bunny’s in the garden were a sweet plus.

My tips: book all your excursions through Mr. Sayed if possible. We made the mistake of booking our guide through an online platform and we were very displeased with her. It was very clear she wanted us to buy at the shops she took us to and some of the information she said contradicted previous guides. We booked a 6 hr tour to 2 pyramids outside Luxor with Mr. Sayed and the guide he set us up with was significantly better. I regretted not booking everything through Mr. Sayed. He makes everything so seamless even airport transfers. Other tip: bring and pay with dollars.
