Country Garden Airport Phoenix Hotel

I have booked the hotel but at the end we stay in apartment. It is run under same or similar name. When you book it be sure that it’s hotel and not apartment part. Apartment is simple and clean with all basic but it’s not hotel. We stayed only one night, hotel bus 🚌 helped with many luggage and reception tried their best. Early morning departure with no possibility to get breakfast too early. Great having many good and cheap small restaurants in 5 min distance. Our apartment has 2 rooms and kitchen corner

We stayed 1 night there on our transit in Guangzhou.
Hotel is large, clean, luxury.
Huge rooms with all possible amenities. Rich and various breakfast. Good free Wi-Fi.
Good cleanliness.
Free airport transfers. Highest recommendations!

Stay for a night near airport to catch a flight. Free shuttle was convenient. Comfortable bed.

Room is clean, staff are friendly, however, no one understands English.

I just got back from this hotel. I had a layover and I ended up at Country Garden Kylin Apartment Hotel. It’s behind this hotel. No one tells you this, maybe because NO one speaks English and no one communicates anything with you. No essentials in the toilet at the apartment hotel, no phone I’m each room, actually just a mess and it’s free from china Southern Airlines because it sucks. Thanks for

Hotel was lovely, and rooms spacious. Had an evening meal at the restaurant. I enjoyed my meal. Had an early check out and the complementary breakfast was quite simple and not much to write home about considering the quality of the hotel. For a nights stay complementary of the airline it was better than expected

The hotel staff were amazing, we had 2 less abled people in our party. We were met at the shuttle bus by 2 staff with wheelchairs, escorted through check in and taken to our rooms. The staff arranged a time with us in the morning,they were collected, taken down for breakfast then onto the shuttle bus. Our rooms were clean,spacious and had great pillows. The bathroom big and the shower nice and hot. Buffet breakfast excellent too, plenty of choices. Overall an excellent stay.

I choose this hotel because I missed my flight and need to stay one day near by airport. I choose this hotel because it was cheap but really surprised this hotel facility is better than Korea's 5 star hotel.
mattress is really comfortable and from other people's review, there is some flight noise but actually for me couldn't heard it.
service is so so but facility is much more better than expect.

I'd booked a suitroom & a twin room for a layover.
Firstly, I found the shuttle service was not sufficient because we must call and wait for apt p/u as the hotel got no rep in the Baiyun airport. Then the checkin procedure was not smooth, it took 1/2 for room keys also didn't clean up yet at 2 pm.
Nothing surprise of the suitroom just extra sofa then. Twin room was up to standard. All amenties were no-frills probably it is not a branded hotel chain.
Beware of the noise of flights movement as well as food preparing in restaurant was also terrible SLOW.
No chance to use the pool, suppose it would be great.
Recommended for short stay only.

If you looking for hotel close to Bayiun airport, then this is the place to stay. The service is impeccable, the employees are extremely professional and helpful. The rooms super clean, breakfast is delightful.

If you need a hotel near Gyuangzhoju's Baiyun International Airport the Phoenix is a must. The hotel and staff are adept AT handling those who come and go to and from the airport. shuttle buses run every half hour (free) beginning at 0400. Rooms are modern, large, well equipped, good wireless. A tasty moderately prices Cantonese restaurant. An English speaking Assitant Manager at the front desk - many of the regular staff also speak English including the restaurant that has a Chinese/English menu.
All that for a value priced rate with pictures.

Had three rooms on the 5th non-smoking floor. Two facing the street and one in the back. Significant street & airplane noise during the day till early morning. During the night, one room had cigarette smoke coming through the vents.

Room was clean and large. The bathroom was big. Wifi okay.

Hotel restaurant food okay and priced above average. Service slow and staff did not speak English.

There's nothing around this area. I book this hotel because we had an early flight out the next morning. Stayed at Pullman when we arrived in China. Country Garden room price better than Pullman, but Pullman has better location with easier access to the metro and quieter rooms.

It serves excellent as transit hotel. A little bit run down here and there, but it's free from southern airlines, so it didn't bother me much. If you do not smoke, remember to ask for non smoking room, otherwise they will automatically arrange a smoking room.

Excellent staffs, very warm service from reception, restaurant, and breakfast restaurant.

The attached Chinese restaurant tastes really good and reasonably priced. I don't think there's any nice restaurants just nearby. It takes almost an hour to downtown and quite costly by a taxi or Didi car.

Walls between the rooms were pretty thin, I could hear my neighbors most of the night.

I check in on 31 dec 2018 and when check in reception give me the room key room 8027. When i check in to the room already occupied by other people. And i go to reception again they just said sorry because new staff dont know the room occupied. Terrible management. Bad experience with this hotel

Close to airport, nice buffet breakfast, clean room

hotel is close to the airport so good for taking early flights out of Guangzhou

The local area is closed to airport and is under construction. So the traffic is horrible and the shuttle is not on schedule during peak hours. Hotel is new and clean, staffs are nice. Hair dryer only works for 2 minutes then stop, needs cool down to avoid over head.
