We had 3 rooms. All of them needed a good clean. Dirty baseboards and door frames. Bathroom floors in the corners were dirty. Headboards stained. Stains and drips of brown stuff on walls. Carpets looked and felt dirty. No where to hang towels with 4 people staying. Beds were old and not comfortable.

Fino Hotel and Suites is the perfect place for our needs and we'll stay again.
Pros:

The staff are extremely friendly and courteous. They genuinely want to help you and their first thought is what they can do to make your stay more comfortable. The rooms are really large with lots of space to relax and unwind and all the amenities you need to be self sufficient if you want. There are restaurants, cafes and convenience stores within a couple of blocks, and it's only a 15 minute walk into the centre of the city. The restaurant on the ground floor will deliver meals to your room. Their staff are also very pleasant, the food is delicious and the serving sizes are very generous.

Cons:

The bathroom is showing signs of age eg, some mould in the grout.

Excellent service from the staff. Our girls loved the extra touch of the kids pack. Thankyou so much for a great stay. Location was amazing and the pillows were super comfy

Great location, basic but comfortable stay.
Pros:

Great location to the city centre. Very easy walking to all the areas we wanted to see (riverside markets, botanical gardens, trams). Very comfortable bed, very basic amenities but for the price very good.

Cons:

We had to wait 15mins at check in desk before someone turned up. I called the numbers advised if we needed assistance and no answer. I asked at check in if the cot we had requested was in our room which they said yes but it wasn’t. Went down to ask about the cot again but then the desk was unattended again and had to wait another 10mins for someone to appear.

Das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich, vor allem Kat hat mir gute Tipps gegeben. Ich hatte ein Superior Appartment an der Ecke nach hinten raus, dadurch war es ruhiger. Kühlschrank, Herd und Küche alles in Ordnung. Bad ist klein, aber okay. Super bequemes Bett. Insgesamt gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für Neuseeland und nur 10 min Fußweg in die City.

Cons:

Ausblick war natürlich nicht so toll nach hinten, dafür war es ruhiger. Das Schlafzimmer hat kein Fenster und kein Tageslicht, doch man kann vom Wohnzimmer über Balkontür durchlüften.
