It was clean. Breakfast was delicious. Location was also great, it was close to city center and many travel agencies pickup point.
Very disappointing experience. The room looked completely different from the impression created by the photos. The design was uncomfortable, the bathroom offered almost no privacy, the balcony was tiny, there was an unpleasant smell in the room, and the view was terrible. We felt so uncomfortable that we left immediately and booked another hotel at our own expense. Despite explaining the situation in several emails, the hotel refused to offer any refund or show any goodwill, hiding behind its non-refundable policy. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel.
A lovely, clean hotel in a great location, with excellent breakfast. Quiet area but an easy walk to restaurants and bus stops (eg local bus to Knossos).

Unfortunately, our stay at Olive Green Hotel started with a disappointing first impression.
The welcome at the hotel felt quite cold and not very hospitable. Regarding the parking, the information provided was not clear enough. Since parking was mentioned in the hotel details, we had the impression that the hotel had its own parking facility. However, upon arrival, we were directed to Central Parking, a nearby partner parking facility, where we had to pay an additional fee. We believe this information should have been communicated more clearly in advance.
In addition, upon arrival, no one offered to help us unload our luggage from the car. This was not in line with the level of welcome, attention, and hospitality we expected from a hotel like this.
Another disappointing point was the pricing. After making our reservation through Booking.com, we noticed that the price for the same room had dropped to almost half of what we had paid. This created a feeling of disappointment and also reduced our confidence in making early reservations through Booking.com.
Although the location of the hotel is convenient, the overall guest experience — especially the first impression and hospitality — did not meet our expectations.

I can't recommend this Olive Green Hotel enough, especially for the food and the staff - amazing!
The room was cozy, clean, comfortable and had anything I needed.
However, the best part of my stay was the staff and their kindness.
My arrival time was scheduled for after they finished serving food but the staff was lovely and made sure I was fed even after my arrival. The food was just amazing, and massive portions - I felt sorry for struggling to finish it!
It was a short but lovely stay, and I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Heraklion!
We spent a short night here.
People are kid and helpful here.
Archeological Museum is very close.
