Exceptional Service, Stunning Views, and a Perfect Family Stay
Pros:

When I booked Tower Suites, I didn’t pay much attention to the hotel itself. I simply thought it was in a convenient location and looked quite upscale. However, I was pleasantly surprised by its stylish design and exceptional service.

Although it is a small hotel, the receptionist and concierge were incredibly efficient and helpful. Before our stay, I contacted the hotel for advice about booking excursions, as I felt overwhelmed by the many options available online. I explained that we were travelling with our seven-year-old daughter and mentioned her particular interests. The team gave us excellent recommendations and even sent links to book through their preferred operator.

Check-in was seamless, and our room was fantastic. It was cleverly designed, immaculate, and had spectacular views from the 20th floor. The reception area also has a beautifully stocked honesty bar with wonderful views.

During our stay, we were able to watch the solar eclipse from the hotel. The staff kindly arranged for us to use a room with the perfect view, turned off the lights, and provided special eclipse glasses. We also received lovely gifts, including high-quality water bottles and champagne.

The staff were exceptionally helpful throughout our visit, whether we needed a taxi or a restaurant reservation. While I found Icelandic people to be incredibly efficient and welcoming in general, the team at Tower Suites were outstanding.

Breakfast was delivered to our room every morning on a trolley, and we were spoiled for choice. There was so much food that it felt as though we could have fed an army, even though there were only three of us!

I highly recommend Tower Suites and would happily stay there again on my next visit to Iceland.

Beautiful boutique hotel, good value
Pros:

It was beautiful, good value for what you get - location was convenient - not in the center, but close walk. Breakfast was amazing!

Cons:

check in was really stressful. there was nobody there to greet us, it's in a locked building. everything through the app, i was so confused and stressed for a bit before i figured it out

Cons:

Kamer was in zonnig weer wat oververhit geraakt, geen zonnewering, airco had moeite om de warmte de baas te kunnen.

Cons:

Rude Staff. Did not care at all. Νο amenities or facilities. 2.000 euros per night and not even room service. Imagine that last day our breakfast was half and the stuff told us they did not bring everything (like bread and ham) cause the previous day we did not set everything and had leftovers.

Pros:

location is excellent - views are amazing although it is preferred the view of the harbour so book that room - it is excellent for those who enjoy walking along the harbour. Very clean and very nice accomodation.

Not getting the room I booked
Pros:

Location is great, very clean and nice view, breakfast room service is excellent

Cons:

The washroom and shower room lights automatically turn off if it doesn’t detect voice/ motion for like 1 minute. Even though you are showering, it would turn off by itself. I paid for a room with a sofa bed, but arrived getting an “upgrade” without the sofa bed but the bathtub, which is not really an upgrade because I don’t need the bathtub, I booked the one with sofa bed for a reason. However all the rooms were full, they were unable to accommodate. And we ended up not getting a room with sea view either.
