The lady behind the desk was nice. It's a very outdated hotel, but the motorcycle theme is kinda nice. There were two bottles of water in the room. That's all good things I have to say unfortunately.
So, there was a music event in Kaohsiung and since I book my trips last moment all other hotels were full, would have normally not booked here. To be short: I would not recommend this hotel, for the price it's not up to European, neither Taiwanese standard. Most expensive stay of my trip and also the most disappointing.
Mold in the bathroom; weird smells in the room; lot of dust everywhere (crazy amounts under the nightstand, like not cleaned in months); floor is old and cracked everywhere; no airco in the halls so it's crazy hot everywhere (airco in the room worked fine, just noisy); window didn't close fully in the bathroom so also the bathroom was always really hot; wifi in the room was very slow; they gave me a room on the corner next to the street, but the windows are not soundproof at all so had to sleep with earplugs; it's an animal friendly hotel, the carpets of the halls were full of animal hairs etc. etc.
Just stayed for one night luckily, skipped the breakfast, went to my other hotel as soon as I woke up and enjoyed Kaohsiung. I've traveled a lot and have seen some bad hotels, but then they were also very cheap. This one was also expensive, so made it worse that the quality was so low. Not recommended to stay here.
