A Luxury Hotel Without Luxury Hospitality- Great Potential, Poor Guest Experience
Pros:

- Very spacious and comfortable suite.
- Excellent bed and mattress, extremely comfortable for sleeping.
- Clean and well-maintained room.

- Average breakfast overall, although the fresh orange juice was a nice touch.
- Excellent location in the heart of Kifissia, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and local attractions.

Cons:

My experience at this hotel was disappointing and far below what one would expect from a four-star property.

From the moment we arrived, there was a delay during check-in, and the overall impression was one of poor organization. Around the pool area, staff were largely absent for long periods of time. Even when a staff member eventually appeared, no effort was made to approach guests or ask if they needed anything. We repeatedly had to look for someone ourselves just to place an order. It was therefore not surprising that very few guests seemed to be using the restaurant or bar services. In addition, the corridor outside our room was not properly cleaned during our stay.

The most disappointing part of the experience, however, was the way I was treated at check-out. I had booked a suite WITH A "SPA" and, since I did not use the spa facilities on the day of my arrival, I politely asked whether I could spend some time at the pool after check-out and, if possible, use the spa that had effectively gone unused during my stay.

The response I received from one of the reception employees was rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily condescending. I was told that, once checked out, I was not entitled to use the pool facilities, without any attempt to explain the policy in a courteous or professional manner. Another member of staff later tried to justify this by explaining that during periods of high occupancy, guests may not be allowed to remain at the pool after check-out due to capacity restrictions. This explanation simply did not reflect the reality of the situation. It was May, the hotel was far from crowded, and the pool area was nearly empty. In fact, the day before there were only a handful of couples using the facilities, and even they were receiving very limited service.

What disappointed me most was not the possibility that my request could be declined, but the attitude with which it was handled.

This is a real old world aristocratic hotel, lagging only but heavily in car access, understandably due to its positioning. It could, however, be easily resolved by a parking assistant and the intelligent use of the, more than adequate, space in front of the main entrance.
