Pros:

Heerlijk eten, schone mooie kamers, aapjes op het terrein.

Cons:

Activiteiten georganiseerd door het hotel veel te duur vergeleken met andere aanbieders maar door de locatie geen makkelijke mogelijkheden om zelf iets te organiseren.
Let op bij het afrekenen.

Ruhiges Hotel über der Stadt gelegen
Pros:

Sehr freundliches familiengeführtes Hotel, hoch am Hang gelegen, sehr ruhig und abseits des hektischen Treibens in Kandy. Sehr gutes Essen im Restaurant, toller Kochkurs und Angebote für Touren.

Super séjour!
Pros:

Nous avons passé 2 nuits en famille dans cette super guest house. Nous avions une grande chambre familiale avec balcon. La literie était très confortable. La maison est au calme dans les hauteurs de Kandy. Le petit déjeuner était très bon. Nous avons fait l’excursion du Pecoe trail proposé par l’hôtel accompagné par Ashan. Ce fut une superbe expérience, il s’agit d’une marche de 12 km sur les hauteurs de Kandy entre les plantations de thé, les temples, les petits villages… Ashan a été le meilleur guide, il nous a expliqué beaucoup de choses sur le thé, les plantes, les animaux de la région.

Schöne ruhige Lage, aber abgelegen.

-Sehr schönes und ruhiges Zimmer mit großen Betten und Balkon
-schöne Aussicht auf die Berge
-Sauberkeit

Cons:

- Lage vom Hotel: außerhalb, schwer zu erreichen/ zu finden. Das Zentrum liegt im Tal und auch Tuktuks fahren nicht gerne hoch. Daher bot das Hotel einen eigenen (aber überteuerten) Fahrservice an (800-1200 Rs, PickMe Preis liegt bei 400-500 Rs)
- Keine Frühstücksoptionen und nur (enttäuschendes) minimales Frühstück (Weißbrot Toastscheiben und dazu an einem Tag Eier, am anderen Hopper nur mit Zwiebelchutney dazu einen kleinen (Basic) Obstteller, frischen Saft gab’s nur an einem Tag.
- kein Housekeeping und keine Frage danach
- Freundlichkeit wirkte aufgesetzt und teilweise hatte man das Gefühl, man wird überwacht (sehr viele Kameras in der Anlage & tägliche Anfrage über WhatsApp, wann man nach zurück ins Hotel kommt)
- morgens kein warmes Wasser

The breakfast was good .
Lovely location surrounded by the jungle with birds and monkeys . The tuk tuk drivers found it hard to find so useful to have the hotel phone number with you.

Beautiful property with stunning views of Kandy.
Pros:

The room was clean and spacious, spare blankets and pillows, nice little tea/coffee station. Big bathroom which was also very clean. I had breakfast and dinner here which were both delicious! It was lovely to sit on the balcony in the sun in the morning! Pathi was incredibly helpful organising onwards travel which was very appreciated.

Cons:

Highly recommend coming by tuktuk as the property is high into the steep hills of Kandy, around 20 minutes from the centre, but the hosts are very helpful at organising transport if needed. Also, the shower didn’t get very hot.

The owners where amazing, we had an amazing stay in the room. The breakfast and dinners are recommended.
Really a great place to rest from your busy Kandy trips and hiking experiences. You relax and enjoy your amazing accommodation.

Cons:

I think some people wants come really late around 1:00 am or 2:00 am in the morning. Discuss it with the owners

Pros:

The owners (Pathi and his wife and son Mack) and staff were extremely attentive and welcoming - by the end of our 3 night stay, we felt like we were a part of their family. I also came away knowing a lot more about Sri Lanka's history and current affairs (thanks, Pathi!). The interior design of the building is tasteful and welcoming, and the beds, including pillows, were very comfortable - the most comfortable out of all the places we stayed at during our sri lanka holiday. The food was amazing - breakfasts were very satisfying (with decent coffee!), and I highly recommend eating dinner there as well if you are seeking fresh and traditional sri lankan food. I'd also recommend the hike along the Pekoe trail (Pathi was our guide) and if you are into cooking, the cooking class with Pathi's nona/wife. In short, my family and I felt a bit sad when we left as it felt like leaving a family. If I could give this place 11 out of 10, I would :) 😀

Perfect Kandy accommodation for those wishing to escape the city
Pros:

We stayed here for 4 glorious nights in the family room.  Definitely the comfiest beds during our 3 week trip all around SL.  This guesthouse feels more like a boojie hotel with poured concrete floors, spacious bathroom and a huge wrap around balcony - beautiful views and peaceful at night. The hosts - Pathi and Subi, and their son Mack are super helpful and great with kids.  Subi is an amazing cook, we had dinner 1 night and wished we'd done that more, she also ran cooking classes - for next time!  Breakfast was also fantastic and varied each day.  Pathi and Mack arranged local tuk tuk drivers for us at a good price who were also very knowledgeable and gave us great local insights such as top snack stops and view points.  Definitely recommend for families and those wishing for a peaceful stay during their Kandy visit.

Wonderful Family Run Hotel in a q uiet part of Kandy
Pros:

Mack and his family are excellent hosts, our rooms were very clean and comfortable (with amazing viewd) and we had the upstairs terrace to ourselves. My daughter was unwell when we arrived and Mack was able to arrange a home visit by their family doctor within the hour to see her, which was amazing and such a relief. Honestly, we wished we had more time to stay and we would certainly return. Highly recommend.

Nothing to report, everything was great.

Toller Aufenthalt!
Pros:

Eine wundervolle Lage mit tollem Ausblick, wofür man natürlich etwas fahren muss, mit einem Fahrer kein Problem. Mit Taxis haben wir keine Erfahrung gemacht.
Das Personal war super freundlich.
Tolles Essen (wir hatten zum Abendessen vegetarisches Curry und zum Frühstück hoppers). Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Cons:

Das Bett hat sehr laut geknarzt und der Wasserdruck aus der Dusche könnte besser sein.

Pros:

The family room is very spacious and clean. The view is unbeatable. Pathi family and the staff in this hotel are great as most of the sri Lankan people. The dinner and breakfast are authentic and tasty.
