Really comfortable. Lovely little gifted drinks and fresh milk in fridge. Good quality coffee in room. Very comfortable, good TV etc, would stay again!
The breakfast choice is excellent and plenty of it. The staff are wonderful can't do enough for you.
Nothing to dislike
Excellent rooms, excellent breakfast and great beer!
Breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful. The room was terrific.
The rooms were a little warm at night. A huge help would be adding a top sheet to the bed. Using just the comforter is too hot and it is very difficult to regulate temperature with only one thick cover.
Location was great. Staff were lovely
Nothing
This is a great hotel!! The staff is amazing and put up with our large group of 10 from the states. They had a table ready for us for dinner and breakfast. Jack ,Jack and Max were fantastic! If you’re traveling into South Hampton before your cruise or just on vacation, I highly recommend this hotel
Historic tavern with good food and friendly, helpful staff. Good location in Southampton. If you are planning a cruise it is a short taxi ride to the terminals. Liked the titanic themed pictures and decorations.
Nothing. We knew that the inn was small and historic and were not expecting luxurious accomodations.
Breakfast staff were great. Bridgit was a great person and manager of the hotel and bar.
Stairs.
convenience of location but there was lots of construction in the area, it was amazing to have found the place
Staff friendly helpful. Close to ferry terminal. Comfy rooms. Storage for cases.
Very narrow stairs.
Stayed here 2 nights pre-cruise. It’s an original authentic old tavern with rooms above it & a great outdoor patio for coffee, snacks & people watching. There is a designated smoking area on 1 side of the patio. It but may not be for everyone but I loved it. This not a 5 star experience. The interior is original, it’s not modern, no elevator, the rooms are small, but clean and comfy. But that is its appeal, it has SO much character. The history is 3rd class passengers on the Titanic stayed here, hence the name: from the White Star line. Lots of Titanic memorabilia throughout the hotel. A very nice breakfast (buffet and menu options) was included in a beautiful dining area off the bar. The original bar is pretty cool too. It’s on a quiet pedestrian cobblestone street with lots of outdoor restaurants and cafés & there is a casino 1 block away. Not a touristy area - seems more like a local neighborhood. There is no shopping close, but it’s an easy 1 mile walk (or taxi ride) to the main WestQuay shopping area. They will store your luggage if you arrive early, & there are small sitting rooms off the lobby to relax until your room is ready. The front desk arranged for a taxi to the cruise port. If you are a low maintenance, relaxed, go-with-the-flow kinda traveler, and want an authentic European experience, not a sterile hotel chain, this is the place for you. I Ioved it, & would def stay here again before a cruise.
The entire staff was informative, helpful, friendly, and funny! Rooms were cozy and clean. AND Oxford St was so much fun!
