I loved the closeness to the airport and the Spitfire village. Great common area/kitchen. Bathrooms facilities cleanly maintained. Staff were polite and professional.
The kitchen was nearly always messy every time I needed to use the kitchen with food scraps still in the sink and dirty dishes not washed up and put away even though there's signs there saying so otherwise. Also there's not much heating throughout the whole building so bit cool inside the corridors in winter.
Location is very near eateries and there is a countdown supermarket. All within walking distance. There is a cool hangout area too.
Near airport the noise is unavoidable only early morning.

It's really close to the airport, it's clean, the check-in process is really quick, and it's reasonably priced. We use this place anytime we have an early/late flight through Chch Airport.
