Pros:

The hotel is in absolutely great condition, well maintained and very clean. The views were truly stunning, especially in the morning when the sun rose, but the evening lighting in the courtyard was also truly beautiful. The hotel's common areas had been carefully designed with small, beautiful details in mind and everything was truly clean. The service was first-class, even for Sri Lanka, and the food was also good. The best value for money on our entire Sri Lanka trip. The hotel was quite empty during our visit, so we were upgraded to the presidential suite. The suite itself was beautiful, but just a large hotel room with a lot of empty space, I'm sure the regular rooms would have been good too.

Luxurious & clean with wonderful facilities and pool - an oasis outside the bustle of Kandy.
Pros:

Amazingly sumptuous hotel in foothills above the busy and somewhat ramshackle streets of Kandy. Really calm, luxurious, modern clean and friendly hotel with beautiful garden, pool and views. We are incredibly grateful to them for upgrading us to the Presidential room! By the way, contrary to previous reviews they do serve beer!

Cons:

Nothing. I just wish we stayed longer!

Parfait, c’était incroyable
Pros:

Vraiment tout, le cadre global, la piscine, le personnel très sympathique et là pour faire le maximum. Tout était parfait vraiment et pas trop proche de Kandy ce qui permet de profiter un maximum du calme car Kandy c’est animé 😅

Cons:

Rien (juste on entend la nature donc il faut se dire que vous êtes dans un endroit où il y a des animaux qui font du bruit

We stayed at the Elegant Hotel for our wedding anniversary, and it was more than we ever expected. The staff were incredibly accommodating from the moment we checked in, providing us with a beautifully decorated Super Deluxe Room that was impeccably maintained with all the necessary amenities.

The highlight of our stay was the outdoor candlelight dinner; the setup was breathtaking and created a memory we will cherish forever. Both the dinner and breakfast were exceptionally delicious. What truly stands out is the staff—from the reception to the restaurant, everyone was professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive to our needs.

The environment is remarkably calm with a stunning scenic view of the mountains. Although we were recovering from a viral flu and couldn't enjoy the infinity pool this time, the peaceful atmosphere was exactly the "healing" we needed. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a high-quality, tranquil, and memorable experience.

Cons:

Honestly, there was nothing to dislike. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Our only regret was being too unwell to enjoy the beautiful infinity pool, but that gives us a perfect reason to return in the future!

Everything was perfect other than the fact that when I asked for a second beer I was told they had run out. Same for white wine! I was eventually told they didn't have a liquor license. For a beautiful hotel, this is very odd and potential guests should be aware of this.If this wouldn't bother you, then this is a lovely place to stay....although further outside of Kandy than I realised.
