AMAKS Park Hotel

Хорошее состояние и оборудование номеров, приветливый оперативный персонал, расположение отеля удобно для путешествующих на автомобиле.
О минусах - платная парковка для гостей отеля, завтрак в целом удовлетворительный, но уже к 9 еды практически не остается, и пустые емкости не пополняют, - кто успел, тот молодец.
Для нескольких ночей вполне подходит как вариант размещения.

I think for a few nights you can survive but the general impression is not very positive.
The rooms are small and there is no minibar. I had to ask for an hairdryer because it is not included. Wi-fi is not easy to get but the people on the reception will help you to connect. After the second night I had no room service...
On the evening big traffic jams begin near the hotel so it is not easy to reach it or to reach the city center.

After Radisson's class hotels Amaks looks more simple and affordable. But if you travel for business and you don't need especiall comfort and delicate service you may stay here.
Advantages - parking, clean, good service
Limitations - not very delicious breakfast

I travel extensively in the Russian regions. I stayed in this hotel because I was speaking at an agricultural conference that was being held at the hotel. My firm was one of the sponsors, so I expected particularly good service. I got to the reception and 2 ladies spent 30 minutes and made several calls because I have a US passport and a residence permit. Finally I was given a room on the ground floor. When I finally found it, it hadn't been made up, although it was after 3 pm. Finally an administrator showed up as I was about to leave and begged me to forgive them and stay in a different room. The hotel is far from the center, close to the airport. So if you want to see Voronezh, you will have to take a taxi. There is no fitness center, but there is a sauna and a bowling alley. Both of course for additional payment. The administrator asked metro accept a free meal in the restaurant as compensation for the checkin process which took longer than the flight from Moscow to Voronezh. When I got to the restaurant I had the feeling that I was the first customer they had seen in weeks if not months. They had almost nothing that was on the menu. When I asked if they had any fish, she said she would have to check. When I asked her to recommend something, she said that she could only recommend the veal salad. At least she was honest. I decided not to order the veal salad because it was made with mayonnaise. I ordered the Greek salad, which was wilted and the lettuce was browning. The olives were clearly from a can. I also had a small bowl of chicken soup which was not bad and a glass of kefir. My colleague had the trout which was also ok. In short stay in the center and not at the Amakhs Park Hotel. By the way, the review from waler12 is obviously written by the hotel. I feel very privileged to have stayed in a hotel with hot and cold water and a sprinkler system! Luckily though there was no fire, so I don't know if it would have worked.
