VERY ISOLATED PLACE.

Such a pleasant surprise. Very high quality in everything at this hotel. We will absolutely stay there when in Athens! Thank you for getting us to the airport very early right when the 24 hr strike happened. So thankful!! Wish we were there longer.

Such a nice place. Owner offered to organize airport transportation for 25euro/trip and homemade dinner for 21euro/person also and it was delicious. The home is so beautiful and everyone is so nice. It feels more like you're staying with a family friend than at a hotel.

Quiet and well appointed, in a countryside setting. Host arranged for taxi to pick us up at the airport, drive us around for dinner, and back to the airport the next day.

We stayed at Varaba as we had a very early flight out from Athens. It is a lovely place with wonderful hosts that cooked us a delicious 3 course meal. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic stay.

We needed a quiet, safe resting place as we flew back from the islands to Athens late at night and the Varaba Country House was perfect. They picked us up at the airport, helped us to our room, were super reliable and punctual. What a nice gift too, to find that the staff had left us an espresso machine to make a much-needed cup of coffee in the morning before our next flight. We will definitely come again! The room was beautiful, clean, and well appointed. Grateful!

Extremely convenient to the airport versus downtown Athens for our early flight the next day. I loved what felt like an authentic experience. It is literally in the middle of pistachio, olive and grape orchards with the only other structure nearby an old historical church. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the best we had during our entire stay in Greece, but the best part were the beautiful grounds to interact with other guests and the property dogs and cats. Definitely get the authentic Greek meal for dinner if you go.

A beautiful place with great breakfast.

Beautiful property. We didn’t get a chance to meet the owners but Nikolia was kind to leave us beer and snacks in our room! We enjoyed the terrace area and our room was super comfortable.

It has a nice country feel with a lovely little church nearby and only 10-15 minutes from the international airport. The breakfast was simple but fresh and delicious. The room was a bit smaller than expected but big enough and the accessories were good quality.

We really liked the property. We met the owner and she was lovely to talk to. The drivers she arranged for us were top notch! The only thing lacking was the food provided. Dinner was extra and was not really very good at all. Breakfast, which was included was very sparse. 1 boiled egg, we all asked for a 2nd, bread, cereal and a small amount of fruit. Definitely not enough to go around for 4 people.
