Water park 10/10

Cons:

The rooms looked nothing like the picture, even though I booked through a third party. It was dark, with old rugs and dark curtains, like a funeral home.

The room was dated. There was dust in the corners, trash behind the beds and the carpet felt sticky under my feet. The room felt like a motel.

The place needs a full make over. The carpets anf rooms haven't been replaced since the 90s. Very dirty and out of date.

Pros:

Le gros plus est l'emplacement. Directement sur le Boardwalk en face de la plage. Il y a beaucoup à faire dans l'hôtel. Parfait pour une famille.

Cons:

Le service n'est pas bon. Le personnel à l'accueil manque de chaleur humaine. Très difficile de rejoindre la réception si nous avons des problèmes. Dans notre cas, nous avons manqué de papiers de toilettes, nous n'avions pas de débarbouillette et pas assez de serviettes. La réception ne répondait pas et le personnel d'entretien nous donnait ce que nous voulions mais à la miette. Durant notre séjour, la trappe de ventilation est tombée durant la soirée et impossible de rejoindre la réception pour venir arranger le problème. Nous avons dû nous arranger nous même.

Unpleasant smell as soon as u open the room I have to cover to cover my nose my entire night can’t sleep ..

Something smell in the room 1004 we can’t sleep because of the smell disgusting smell ..the bed r too low ..n also the water park u cant bring food even chips for my kid only water u can bring inside snacks for my kids and also no other choices for food only pizza chicken n fries funnel cakes n ice cream ..thats it ..I brought open chips for my kid but the lady told me finish it or throw it …wow ..we went there today at 1:300pm..we only stayed for a night plus I have ticket t pay for parking $78 ..coz I ddint pay the parking last night …usually we pay after check out for the parking …but showboat is different ..we went to ocean resort most of the time we pay parking after we check out but not showboat hotel..pay ur parking as soon u arrive the hotel or else u get ticket for parking we only stayed 1 night n then today Thursday July 9,2026 we went to water park at 1:30pm .we checked in Wednesday July 8,2026..
