Expect more for the price we pay
Pros:

I will say the bed was wonderful great mattress, and a good size! The Balcony was also nice and good size room

Cons:

Well, the bathroom looks like it is from the 80s and hasn't been updated in a long time. There is a nasty shower curtain that attacks you while you are showering. My girlfriend, who is from the Netherlands and doesn't deal much with shower curtains, found this very annoying and decided to put the curtain outside the shower wall, which resulted in the whole room getting flooded. It is our fault, but the price we pay, we would expect a bit better bathroom experience. I couldnt help but also notice water in weird places when we checked in, so it could have happened to the people before. When I needed someone at reception could never find anyone multiple times, and breakfast was a little sad. So the quality-to-price ratio is very poor here. I expect more when spending $100+ a night here in Peru.

¡El mejor lugar de machupicchu! Y Guille, simplemente un crack
Pros:

Mi estancia en el Gringo Bills fue una auténtica joyita. Si buscan un lugar para sentirte en casa, con calidez y buen ambiente, este es el indicado.

Pero tengo que hacer una mención especial, porque si el hotel es un 10, la atención de Guille se merece un 11. Ese chavo es un sol, siempre con una sonrisa y una vibra súper positiva. Desde que llegué me hizo sentir como en mi casa, me dio tips buenísimos de qué hacer, dónde comer las mejores garnachas y hasta se aventó la plática amena en la recepción. No solo es un excelente anfitrión, sino que se nota que le pone mucho corazón a su chamba.

Las instalaciones cómodas, limpieza de 10 y el desayuno bien padre. Pero sin duda, lo que hace la diferencia en este lugar es tener a alguien como Guille. Si vas, búscalo, que él le pone el "plus" a la estancia.

¡Ah, y no se espanten con el nombre, el "Gringo Bills" es más latino que el tequila! Jaja. Volveremos solo por el buen servicio de Guille.

Segunda vez aquí… y volvería otra vez!

Nuestra estadía fue excelente. Es mi segunda vez aquí y sin duda volvería nuevamente.

Lo que más destaco es la atención del personal, especialmente de Guille, quien estuvo pendiente de nosotros en todo momento. Nos ayudó con recomendaciones, nos fue a buscar a la estación y hasta nos mostró el pueblo, lo que marcó una gran diferencia en la experiencia.

El desayuno fue muy bueno, en especial el omelette preparado al momento. La habitación era muy cómoda, con una cama gigante ideal para descansar después de un día de paseos. Además, el balcón es perfecto para relajarse en la noche y disfrutar unas cervezas tranqui.

Cons:

Como punto a mejorar, el último día tuvimos un inconveniente con el agua caliente en nuestra habitación, por lo que tuvimos que ducharnos en otra pieza. Sin embargo, el personal fue amable al ofrecer una solución.

Beautiful hotel in a mini tropical paradise.
Staff were exceptionally helpful - met us at the train station and walked us the short distance to the hotel.
