I’ve stayed here twice, and it’s a solid choice! We had a great room both times, and loved having breakfast outside on their awesome patio after a long cold Canadian winter. There were some tech issues with the Bonvoy app the first trip, but all was quickly resolved. We call our second trip a “Dua-0ver”😇.
The pool area is amazing. Great views, you can choose sunshine or shade and there’s an abundance of loungers and towels available.
Staff couldn’t do enough for us and it was easy to summon ride share cars once they found the correct entrance (there are two). A
Our favourite Miami restaurant is a 5 minute walk away, as is a very high end shopping mall.
We will be back in a heartbeat! Definitely stay here.
Pretty good!
Just some random things to mention.
1st - take help from a bellhop! My room was down a hallway, then another hallway and another… like a maze! And the rug was thick so it was hard to roll your suitcase. Just say yes when someone offers you help!
2nd - my view was a construction site. Thankfully nothing happened while I was there so no complaints from me but I can see that being a tad annoying / loud. I did sleep like a rock!
3rd - the hotel texts to check in to make sure all is ok (which I always think is nice). NOT at 11:06pm when I am dead asleep. I mentioned to the front desk. Reaction was laughter followers by an apology and free breakfast (I think - unless I get charged at a later date).
4th - staff was sooooo nice! Especially the woman who was on day 3 of the job!
5th - pool was fantastic! However there was no one to help with towels so I just took myself.
6th - room service was delicious! However it wasn’t in a silver platter (like the old school days) - it was delivered like Uber style and there was 1 tiny napkin. More napkins or even a real napkin would be nice (had to use a towel as a napkin) - whoops.
7th - spa was less than ideal - I’ll do a different review on that one, but I was extremely disappointed.
Overall? I would come back here - but my expectations would be met knowing a few of these minor quirks.
The property was in a perfect location and beautiful
The staff was a little rude
Hotel has taken payment not refunded after failing to be able
To check me in
City View 👌
I love the restaurant downstairs where I’m able to smoke cigars and enjoy people watching
Dua is a great location. The hotel is connected to a residential tower and share some amenities. They are planning a significant and needed renovation during 2026. The rooms are comfortable but very dated. All of our staff interactions were excellent. There is extensive construction in the area and Brickell is vibrant/loud.
It’s our first experience at a Dua and it was memorable.
There were some oddities in some of the room designs but we were advised that the hotel will be refurbished in 2026.
It was our longest stay in a hotel (12 days) and because of this, we felt like the staff were family.
Kelvin use to be the manager at the Cadillac hotel on South beach and he was brought to the Dua. We both remembered each other but his memory was quicker than mine 😊.
Rooms were a bit small and there were other issues with the design, such as only one bath towel rack, electrical plugs in the floor which I had to plug in each night to charge my phone etc. Electrical outlets and locations were not what we were use to.
Lastly, the front desk staff were so warm and friendly that it was very hard for us to leave. Our first experience was with Emilie who checked us in. She was smily, exuberant and happy to make us comfortable.
The next morning, we were introduced to Markel, with whom we would joke. Unfortunately, he wasn’t there when we checked out. He’s a wonderful gentleman.
The other front desk staff were exceptional also, Cristina, Geraldine and Thalia. Such nice people. Ask Cristina to show you pictures of her dog dressed up to go to a wedding 😊. Very cute.
We had breakfast outside (in December) which was wonderful. Maria, who was very sweet, took care of us.
We would definitely return again.
Absolutely stunning hotel, room was awesome, bed was very comfortable and clean. However, I got the worst nights sleep I’ve ever had because there is a restaurant that turns into a club beneath the hotel that BLASTS music until midnight during the week and 2am on the weekends. I was on the 4th floor and the music was quite literally inside my room. I had to sleep with headphones on, and take 3 sleeping pills to even drown out the non stop EDM Latin based music it was absolutely a nightmare. I love the hotel however I do NOT recommend staying here if you’re on business.

Lo staff davvero molto gentile e disponibile.
Buona colazione
All good. Room well appointed in a slightly quirky style. Good toiletries. Coffee machine. Towels and Robes. Hairdryer. All good.
We had a view of a construction site. This was the only slight negative.
The location is great, close to Brickell and many neighbourhoods. Nice Pool and gym
Solid choice especially if you’re Bonvoy. Super close to tons of restaurants and bars in Brickell, close to the City Center mall, maybe 20min from MIA.
Rooms are fine. Certainly clean, not especially fancy, feels maybe slightly dated. But the AC works and they get the job done. Bit of street noise on weekends but nothing crazy. Bathroom layout was spacious, water pressure and temp were great.
Restaurant and pool bar AMAZING. Fantastic service - totally five star. Really good, solid, comforting food. Staff was amazingly friendly - the manager, Angel, clearly sets the tone- super professional and would come again mainly because of the restaurant team.
