位置在火車站對面，有幫忙叫計程車的服務

Cons:

走廊有很重的煙味，但還好房間內沒有，隔音不好要自備耳塞才比較容易入睡

Convenient Location, But Don't Expect Much Beyond That
Pros:

Superb location — just a 1–2 minute walk from Hsinchu Train Station. Surrounded by major convenience stores, eateries, and shopping options including nearby malls. Very convenient for travelers!

Cons:

The reception counter staff were not friendly, which came as a surprise to me. I've travelled to Taiwan countless times, and one of the things I’ve always appreciated most is the warm hospitality and friendliness of the Taiwanese people. They’re usually helpful, approachable, and often go out of their way to assist tourists without being asked.

Unfortunately, my experience with the staff at this hotel was disappointing. There was some “conflict” when I tried to understand the price differences between days. Perhaps I asked too many questions, or it was simply bad timing, but the staff didn’t seem willing to clarify my doubts. In the end, I gave up and just paid the listed amount. The lack of engagement and unwillingness to help left a poor impression.

On my last day, which happened to be the eve of the Duan Wu Festival, I felt uncomfortable with the price and decided not to extend my stay. I managed to book another hotel approximately 500 metres away, which offered almost 2/3 of the rate. The new room was bigger, newer, and came with a warm welcome from the front desk staff — a small gesture that instantly restored my confidence in the hospitality Taiwan is known for.

Also worth noting — The actual facilities are pretty basic.

If I return to Hsinchu in the future, I now know exactly where I’ll choose to stay.
