Overall very happy. Customer service was fantastic and property was great. Rooftop bar is a must visit. Staff was helpful with some lat minute changes.
Thompson Nashville delivers that familiar Thompson cool: the iconic scent, the clean intuitive lobby layout, and a room that is stylish without trying too hard. The location strikes a great balance as it’s close enough to Downtown to walk, yet set in a quieter pocket that gives you space to breathe.
Check in was smooth, and once upstairs, the King room on the 10th floor felt spacious and comfortable, very much in line with Thompson’s understated luxury. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with plenty of great options, and the cruffin is absolutely a must order — a croissant muffin hybrid that’s far better than it has any right to be.
The rooftop bar is perfect around 5pm, when the vibe is relaxed and the views shine, before it shifts into its louder late night personality (unless that’s exactly what you’re after).
Overall it was another example of why Thompson Hotels are my absolute favorite.
The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Easy to go out on foot to catch shows at the Station Inn and Rudy’s. Staff was really nice. One lady helped me so much when I lost my phone. Grayson was very helpful in planning my dining in experience one night.
The entire staff was very friendly and efficient. The property was clean and very enjoyable. We would definitely have another staycation at the Thompson!
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Thompson Nashville. After a long journey, we walked into the hotel and received one of the warmest welcomes we've ever experienced.
I had mentioned when booking that our trip was to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. On arrival, we were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine, a warm welcome, and two complimentary cocktails to enjoy at one of the hotel's bars.
We booked a King Room with a city view, and it did not disappoint. Given how lively the hotel was and the fact that our room was only a few doors from the lift, we expected some noise but it was incredibly quiet throughout our stay. An added bonus was the "hydration station" just outside our room, where guests can fill their provided large glass bottle with still or sparkling water and grab individual bags of ice. It's the small touches that make a difference.
When we entered our room, we were greeted by a beautiful view of the city, along with a handwritten card and a giant cookie from Killebrew, the hotel's café. The room itself was spotless and well designed. The only minor drawback was the lighting system. There wasn't a master switch by the bed, so each light had to be turned off individually, which was a little surprising given how modern the hotel is.
We made good use of our cocktail voucher and visited the rooftop bar, L.A. Jackson. It has a fantastic atmosphere and as people move around throughout the evening, you're likely to find a great spot by the glass overlooking the city skyline.
Each time we entered or left the hotel, we were warmly acknowledged by the front of house team. In the mornings, we enjoyed great coffee from Killebrew before heading out to explore Nashville.
The hotel's location is fantastic, with many attractions and areas of interest within easy walking distance. We would absolutely stay here again.
Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful stay. The service we received was great from start to finish. A special mention goes to Grayson, who looked after us before we head to the airport.
What a fantastic start to my birthday celebration! We arrived at the Thompson Nashville for a three-night stay and were greeted by Kaveed, the Front Office Supervisor, who immediately made us feel welcome.
As first-time Hyatt Globalists checking in, we weren't sure what to expect, but Kaveed went above and beyond. He upgraded us to a gorgeous corner suite and made us feel genuinely appreciated as loyal Hyatt guests.
The room is absolutely beautiful, and his warm, friendly service made our arrival and our stay even more special. Thank you, Kaveed, for helping make my birthday getaway one to remember!
I had an amazing stay at the Thompson Hotel! Kim and Kav went completely above and beyond to make it a great experience. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. I will definitely be coming back!
Nicola and Kimola were just fantastic people. I checked in a little heated over a discrepancy and they were very knowledgeable and patient and made my check in process quick, seamless, and ended my experience with a glass of Prosecco.
Great location and outstanding hotel. The room was great - nice amenities, bed/bedding/pillows - all first class; and the turntable was a nice touch. Just wish that the Bob Segar album had not been taken by a previous guest. The Concierge provide outstanding dining recommendations and the staff was very friendly and helpful Just wish the hotel had a pool
Great stay at the Thompson. Suite was fantastic with very comfortable bed. allowing for a great night's sleep. Great location in the Gulch and overall a wonderful stay. I stay often in Nashville and mostly at Hyatt properties. This was my second time at Thompson Hotel and I highly recommend it.
Excellent stay at a wonderful hotel. The location was perfect, and the coffee shop hits the spot in the a.m. before you make your way out into Nashville.
Location is great . We like the Gulch area a lot. We stayed here 3 other times. The staff could care less about you being a returning customer or going above any level to make you happy. We enjoy the Marsh restaurant. Rooms are nice and clean.
The location was perfect, so many great stores and restaurants near by
Carpets looked dirty or outdated
The hotel was amazing. From check in to check out the experience was great. The staff were excellent. Location was perfect! Food in Marsh House was great as was the bar LA Jackson on the roof and coffee in lobby at Killebrew's. Filtered water the hallways for all - first time I've ever experienced that!!
No complaints as all.
Stayed for business at the Thompson Nashville by Hyatt. Located in a great area downtown near restaurants. Great vibe, beautifully appointed, wonderful service. Highly recommended. I will be back, next time with my wife!
Traveled with my son and his dog. One night stay/stop as we drove across country. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff was friendly, proactive and helpful. Traveling after a very long drive and with a dog we were thrilled and appreciative how comfortable and welcoming everyone was. Our room was beautiful and we were happy to have dinner in the restaurant, and able to have our dog with us on the patio. Great service and wonderful food. And the location is perfect walking to restaurants/shops and only 10 minutes to Broadway Ave and all the music. Terrific stay, we wish we could've stay another night to explore more. Highly Recommend.
Good location for the Gulch. If you want to spend time listening to music on Broadway then there are closer hotels. B’way is a two mile walk. Atmosphere and room at the Thompson were both good. The initial deposit of $150 a night for “extras” on check-in was a bit toppy.
Nicola was amazing! This is our second time here and she has gone way and beyond to make sure we had the best time here. Thank you for the staff for all the great service but a special shout out to Nicola!
