- In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), starting November 1, Thailand has allowed fully vaccinated travelers who are traveling by air from low-risk and only eligible 63 countries for quarantine-free travel. Travelers entering Thailand under exemption from quarantine scheme will have to take a RT-PCR COVID-19 test once arrive and wait for test result at SHA+ or AQ hotel for 1 night or until negative result will be received.

- We regret to inform you that unfortunately we have found it necessary to close our swimming pool from September 1, 2022 onwards to carry out emergency repairs which cannot be postponed.
- We have arranged for our guests to use the swimming pool at the Eastin Tan Hotel Chiang Mai opposite U Nimman Chiang Mai or only 2 minutes’ walk from the hotel with a free of charge drink beside the pool from the chosen selection with our compliments. May we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by these essential repairs and thank you for your kind understanding regarding this matter.

The room itself was outstanding!
A couple of points off for the dispruptive amount of noise at night from the surrounding area. It wasn't every night and isn't a problem if you are likely to be out late yourself but if staying with a young family it is definitely worth considering especially with the price point of the hotel.

Location and staff were lovely.
breakfast was international and had so many great options. we ate it both days. they also greeted us in the morning with asking what coffee/tea drink we would like. options included noodle soups, khao soi, smoothies, different breads, omelet/eggs benedict section, dim sum, etc.
wish the room service was 24/7

The staff at U Nimman Chiang Mai were helpful, professional, and responsive throughout our stay. Service was consistent and courteous, which we appreciated. The hotel itself has a modern feel, and the option for delivered breakfast was a nice touch, the plated meals were actually better in quality than the buffet.
The location was just okay. While it’s in a lively area, it’s right next to restaurants that play loud music until around midnight. The hotel even provides ear plugs in the room, which was a bit of a red flag and reflects the noise issue.
The room had several drawbacks. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, and the layout of the corner room felt awkward and poorly designed. The shower setup was also unusual, with two shower heads in one space, which seemed unnecessary and a bit odd.
Additionally, the toilet was slow to flush.
Cleanliness could be improved, we found hair on the sofa and on the ceiling-mounted shower head.
The breakfast buffet was average at best and didn’t stand out. While the plated breakfast was better, the wait time was quite long (around an hour), which made it inconvenient.
