- We have arranged for our guests to use the swimming pool at the Eastin Tan Hotel Chiang Mai opposite U Nimman Chiang Mai or only 2 minutes’ walk from the hotel with a free of charge drink beside the pool from the chosen selection with our compliments. May we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by these essential repairs and thank you for your kind understanding regarding this matter.

This hotel was located in a great area, close to a shopping mall with access to a daily market directly opposite. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pricing was excellent 👌🏾.

The location
The pillow is very soft
I have stayed at U Nimman for business trips in Chiang Mai for the past 4 years. The staff service has always been outstanding. However, during this stay on a weekday, the noise from the bar opposite the hotel was extremely loud, and I couldn’t sleep until after midnight. It seriously affected my rest before an early workday. I may not stay at this hotel again because of the noise issue.

The stay was, on balance, positive.
1. The staff (from Reception to Driver) were charming and helpful. They showed me the Gallery and explained the history of the hotel.
2. The hotel environment was spotless with the most awesome area being the herbal area out at the outdoor lounge.
3. The food at the next door Rincome was abundant.
4.The shopping was thrilling.
5. The only throwback that knocked down many points for our enjoyment at the hotel was the intensely sobering seedy red lighting inside the elevators. The red light is similar to those that are known to be used at budget hotels and hotels in red light areas. We were so shocked when we first stepped into the elevator. We thought we had made a mistake and booked into an unwholesome hotel because 5 star hotels use proper lights.
The room itself was outstanding!
A couple of points off for the dispruptive amount of noise at night from the surrounding area. It wasn't every night and isn't a problem if you are likely to be out late yourself but if staying with a young family it is definitely worth considering especially with the price point of the hotel.
