This hotel is really clean, quiet, and simple! The rooms are remarkably cozy and fresh, the beds comfortable and warm, and the bathroom spotless and well-stocked with towels and sublime toilet paper (not sandpaper like you get in some expensive hotels!). To top it all off, the staff was incredible. Front desk personnel were very helpful and friendly, even providing laundering services! Room service personnel were quick, thorough, and thoughtful, changing sheets daily, cleaning the bathroom impeccably, and ensuring all amenities, like tea bags, were restocked.

Just outside the front door are restaurants, coffee shops, and high-quality grocers. Only a couple blocks away is a subway station which lets you zip around Saint Petersburg easily.

There's only one thing I think could use improvement: WiFi. As an international visitor, I relied heavily on WiFi wherever I went. WiFi at this location was intermittent and splotchy.

On a more personal level, this was my third visit to Saint Petersburg. I wanted to stay away from the touristy areas and be in a place where I could see regular Russian life. This hotel is right across from a university, in the middle of many dwellings, and quite a ways from Nevsky Prospekt. You see daily life here.

Overall, I loved my stay at Rotas on Krasnoarmeyskaya. It isn't opulent, but it was excellent.

Pros:

This hotel is based in the converted ex communial flat on the 2nd floor of the historic building. Decor is premier inn standard clean and convenient. No breakfast offered but plenty of places to eat near by. Steep stairs no lift .

잠 못 이루는 소음, 엘레베이터 없음.
Pros:

밤늦게 도착해서 선택한 호텔인데, 골목길에 잘 보이지 않는 곳 위치(아침에 봐도 마찬가지).
엘레베이터 없는 리셉션 3층이던가, 4층이던가. 캐리어 들고 올라가다가 기절하는 줄.
전혀 방음되지 않아서 옆 방 소리를 밤새 들어야 해서 잠 거의 못 잠.
밤늦게 도착하면 안전한 택시 타고 다른 호텔 가세요. 비추.

Отличный чистый и уютный отель. Есть всё что нужно для комфорта - вайфай,тв,холодильник. Каждый день уборка и бесплатные пакетики с чаем и сахаром что тоже весьма приятно) Минибар с чипсами, сухариками и лимонадами. Очень комфортная кровать, чистая ванна комната. Отдыхать приятно.
Из минусов разве что плохая шумоизоляция, соседей сверху и сбоку слышно хорошо. Так же в пятницу и субботу гудит караоке бар снизу, благо не очень допоздна.

Pros:

Брали 2 улучшенных номера на сутки, отель чистый, довольно уютный, расположение удобное.
В номере есть телевизор и кондиционер, минибар, чашки, чай(за кипятком видимо надо идти на стойку регистрации), шкаф, губка для обуви(!), ложечка, сейф, письменный стол и два стула. Оба номера выходили окнами на улицу, не слишком шумно, но ощутимо. Персонал отзывчивый, стойка регистрации работает до 6 утра(не проверяли). Кровать очень удобная, хорошие матрасы, отлично выспались. В душе есть нормальный полотенцесушитель с обогревом, фен.
Из неудобств: вход в отель только по домофону, без звонка на стойку в отель не войти. Была заявлена бесплатная парковка, включенная в стоимость номера(запарковаться на ней так и не удалось - мест не было, запарковались просто на улице). Завтрак за 300р с человека того не стоил(завтрак был в соседнем ресторане Paradise House и завтрак накрыли только на нас, меню, так называемого шведского стола, было очень скромным: яичница, овсянка, булочки с маслом, нарезка, хлопья с молоком и неплохая фруктовая тарелка). Возможно, если бы больше народа взяли завтрак, было бы поприличнее, а так мы были вдвоем.

Спокойное место для отдыха
Pros:

Немного оставлющая желать лучшего звукоизоляция, если у вас не люкс, но относительно приемлемые цены и недалеко от центра. Рядом есть где перекусить, за вменяемые деньги.

За свои деньги - супер отель
Pros:

Хороший отель на 3 этаже дома, номер был небольшой, но функциональный. Убирались ежедневно, представляли по запросу утюг и гладильную доску (все в отличном состоянии). Отель расположен в 5-10 минутах хотьбы от метро, вокруг много пекарнь, ресторанов, магазинов, аптек и т.д. Очень удобная кровать!

Pros:

Отель очень уютный, чистый, тихий. Персонал приветливый, вежливый отзывчивый. Мне помогали отыскать в городе определенного сотового оператора,хотя это и не входит в их прямые обязанности. Есть одно "но": номер очень маленький. Я отдыхала с ребенком и нам было тесно. А как поместятся двое взрослых-я не представляю. Далековато от метро. После целого дня экскурсий это особенно чувствуешь.

Great hotel!
Pros:

The hotel is really nice and has great, beautiful rooms and really nice staff. The breakfasts are free but not that good. We stayed there for 2 weeks and really enjoyed our time. Although the air conditioning is a little annoying because it doesn't work as well. Overall, great.
