Akrotiri Apartments

I have literally never written a review of a hotel before, but Dimitra was so AMAZING that I decided to write this. Our flight was delayed and we got in very late, but she was in touch with us and arranged for us to be able to check in and even got us a ride when the buses weren't running. There was plenty of food and water in the fridge and the kitchen was well-appointed. Dimitra had excellent recommendations for restaurants and was and all around kind person. The apartment was also great! Bed was firm, and the AC kept us nice and cool. The view was beautiful and the jacuzzi was a nice bonus. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Dimitra is so lovely , she made sure that you are comfortable and have everything you need, she goes beyond and arrange the transport where necessary and make the stay very pleasant. We would love to come back and stay with you when ever we visit Greece.

Dimitra is a nice and helpful host. She leaves you food (eggs, bread, cheese) in the fridge to prepare your own breakfast. Appartment is well situated, a 10min walk to village with mini-market, cafés. It is also close (5min drive) to a lighthouse and amazing vue of sunset, much less touristic than Oia and better view

We stayed for 3 nights. Was a very pleasent experience. Room was clean. Kitchen, and lounge area was comfortable. Bedroom was nice. Bathroom had a small bath with shower. Dimitra was very hospitable, always on hand for any queries, and room service was very good with fridge being filled. Free Parking was available for our car. The shared large balcony had lovely views of the island and sea.

Very nice 2-rooms appartment with a big terrace and a beautiful view of the caldera. Not far from the Caldera beach, the famous Red beach and Black beach (we have rented a car to drive to the beaches). Good tavernas nearby. The hosts did everything for our comfort and we felt us at home. Dimitra was very helpful with the information and tickets to the center of the volcano. Breakfast was included, we got juice, milk, good bread, jam, butter, honey, jogurt, cheese, ham and home fresh eggs. We are very thankful for the beautiful vacation we had at this place!

Dimitras is FANTASTIC. Weeks before we arrived, she reached out and offered advice on the island activities and navigating to the property (she recommended get a car & she was 100% right!) Although our plane arrived after 1 AM, she was very understanding and accommodating and was available to greet us and show us our room. The property is spotless and well maintained, and the views of the caldera are breathtaking. Dimitras brought us some authentic Greek sweets that her mom had made, and these little touches made our stay very memorable. THANK YOU DIMITRAS!

We stayed here for just one night because our plane got in late & our airbnb was already booked for that first night we were in. It was one of the best decisions we made on our vacation. Dimitras was the NICEST person we have ever encountered. She met us late at night after our plane was delayed. She was happy & friendly & helped us get everything together the next morning. She gave us some local restaurant suggestions & she was spot on. She served us breakfast & helped us figure out how to best navigate the island. Plus, the views from the property are breathtaking.

Loved the family atmosphere. Family owned and they made you feel a part of the family. So many breakfast options. Property was beautiful. The views were amazing...water visible from all balconies.

We highly recommend this place for a relaxing vacation away from the crowds. The Caldera view from the terrace is the first thing that impressed us. Mother and daughter duo,Stella and Dimitra did a wonderful job welcoming us at their spotless apartment for our 4 night stay. We were offered delicious breakfasts every day and extra home-made treats. From the very first day we got a lot of info and tips on daily trips,restaurants and local events. Everything the website offers in pictures and words is 100% true. Thank you very much Dimitra and Stella for your kindness and promptness

Location was great with beautiful view of La Caldera and sunset. Drive about 30 min to get to Oia, not bad at all and you get to see many other places. I would stay again

What a lovely place to stay! We loved that we were a little way away from the main part of the island. Akrotiri is a beautiful part of the island to explore. Dimitra and her family were very welcoming and were available whenever we needed them. The apartment we stayed in was beautiful and clean. The custom breakfast was great and a wonderful start to our day. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Santorini!

A 5 min à pied de l'arret de bus, des restaurants. La propriétaire est très disponible. Elle nous a réservé un quad que le loueur est venu nous déposer à la location. Belle vue sur la Caldera.

We just spent 3 nights from 3/15 - 3/18/2017 at Stella's Akrotiri Apts. My wife and I with our two teens all really enjoyed our stay in the two-bdrm apt. The rooms are impeccably clean and quiet. The apt owners, Stella and Dimitra are very nice, honest, caring people. We could not have chosen any better place for our stay. We recommend this place to you all without any hesitation.

Stella Akrotiri Apartment is a five star accommodation. Stella apartment was very clean, spacious, comfortable, high standard and well equipped with everything one needs during a stay in the house. Stella and Dimitra ,the host are amazing, Kind, gracious and very caring people. Breakfast and a lovely greek cofee was to die for. Stella Family went above and beyond to guide us with things to do in Santorini. We could not have chosen any better place or host for our stay. Highly recommended to all. We will definitely visit them again if we come to Santorini.
