If you are looking at hotels in Burlington, chances are HIGH you are passing through and looking for a decent stop on your road trip. I would recommend this hotel. Its clean. Check-in was done well (even though Marriott was having technical challenges with an upgrade, the staff handled it the best way possible). Breakfast was plentiful...even with a large crowd. Coffee was good. Parking is easy. We looked around at the other hotel options to compare for next time....honestly, I think this is definitely the best place to stay.
Quiet and comfortable
Room appeared fine. Bed smelled a little. A good local restaurant within five minutes. Main problem was that the bed had some sort of infestation. We always check for signs of bed bugs before we bring our bags in: we found nothing. I felt a bite before I fell asleep. Rechecked the bed and found nothing. Woke up the next day with bites across my legs, one on my arm. Still no signs of bed bugs. We changed the next night of our trip to avoid family. Came out of it with (so far), no further bites. Our guess is the prior guest had a pet with fleas and the hotel didn't change the sheets (hence the smell in the bed).
We alerted the front desk when we checked out. Management didn't answer when they were called by the employee. We contacted Marriott and got a standard, canned response that local management would look into it. Never heard back. Anyone staying in 215, beware.
For once a hotel that was not "surface" level clean but when I ran my finger along the top of the TV it was squeaky clean. I absolutely appreciated that.
Some of the doors needed a little bit of some lube sprayed on them to stop them from squeaking.
Comfortable beds, quiet, and staff was friendly.
This hotel was definitely the best place to stay in Burlington, and they were full the day we stayed. I heard the front desk turn away several people trying to get a room, so be sure to book in advance. The king suite was perfect for us, traveling with a 1 yr old who needs space for a pack and play. All the staff we spoke with were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable but pillows were not, so maybe bring your own. Towels, TP and tissues were all thin and a little scratchy but that’s pretty normal. Breakfast ended at 9 am which felt early to me, and they started cleaning it up at 8:50 so be sure to go down by 8 to get a well-stocked breakfast. The mini waffle iron was the best. Would like to see breakfast extended til 10 am ideally. But overall this is the best place I’ve stayed in a while and a great choice to stop on the way to the Rockies.
When weather forced us to stop for the night we were able to get a room here easily. Lower floor room 130. Initial entry into the room I noticed a mildew smell. Not overpowering but enough to notice upon entry. Then noticed the basin in the shower had a large crack in it. This could explain some of the smell as it was big enough to let water enter. Checked out early with no one at the desk so I couldn’t let them know there.
The staff was super friendly and recommended a fantastic restaurant in town for dinner. Great place to stay right off I70. Very clean and would recommend to stay. Quiet at night. Parking felt safe.
Bed could have been more comfortable.
One of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever experienced. Nice staff.
The shower door handle. It sticks out pretty far. I received a significant injury bumping into it.
The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, beds were comfortable and breakfast was great!
Good place. Helpful, friendly young person at the check in desk. Easy parking.
I booked just one day prior, so maybe that explains, but i thought the rate was a bit steep for this kind of place. I paid $180+. Would’ve expected something more like $125-150.
Muy bueno
Convenience.
We were pushing the cutoff time, but food seemed to get cold fast.
