Four Points by Sheraton Sherwood Park

Stayed several nights last month for a business meeting.
Very clean rooms, friendly front desk staff, and great housekeeping.
Pool and fitness area were good. Tried the restaurant once — the food was excellent.
Will be back again. Thanks to the whole team!

Booked a room at the four points Sheraton in Sherwood park for 2 nights for business. It’s not too far from Edmonton, but if you’re mostly in the city just stay there. As I had business in Sherwood park it was perfect.

Lots of free parking and right off the highway. Check in was great and I was upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite due to my Bonvoy status. Staff were very friendly.

The room itself was large, almost too large for the decor, but the bed was comfortable and it’s always nice having dedicated work space away from the room. The bathroom was large with a seperate shower and large soaking tub.

Definitely would return when in Sherwood park next.

This hotel is a disaster. I just checked in today. The agents at the desk are so confused and not knowledgeable at all. The rooms are not ready by 4pm. Check-ins are so disorganized. There are kids running all over the hotel and no control for this from the management side. The Frontdesk team seemed to be overwhelmed with no support. Phones ringing non stop and people waiting in the lobby for check-ins for a long time.

Last time I stayed here was in during the last Edmonton concert and was pleased but seems like there is all new faces who just got hired and not well trained. The management team should make sure they put the front facing people at work after full training. The front desk agent told me herself that she was new and no proper training was provided. They are put to work alone on busy days with no help.

Lastly, the restaurant service is terrible. One server running after so many tables. The restaurant also seems to be understaffed.

After checkin we called for some extra towels which didn’t get delivered till we got down ourselves to ask for it again. Called four times down but no one answered the call.

There is only one bottle of water provided in the room even though the room is booked for 3 people…CHEAP!!!…

The also have some new house rules at the table which does not make sense.

Breakfast when asked. The agent replied. No breakfast. When asked to add it on the reservation they cannot do that as well. The answer was Pay at the restaurant as our manager said we cannot add breakfast in the rates because of the extra cost as restaurant is not owned by the hotel. This is seriously very disappointing. Hotel seems to be very much cost cutting while the prices of the rooms are crazy

Loved being given a room on the ground floor. Room was very clean and staff friendly. The location is great for our needs in Sherwood Park.

One of a very bad experience with the hotel. I did stay in room 216 and complained about the hot water issue with the Tub. I asked to speak to a manager but the Manager is on Vacation. The front desk lady looked really confused, and not Knowledgeable about the system. I asked to speak to someone in charge but there is no manager or supervisor available on the weekend. I was told to wait till Monday for a call from the head of sales. It has been Friday but yet there is nothing. I am very much suprised with the way this property operates. The parking lot is a disaster, no control at night for the noise level. The night lady was always at the back office and never answered our phone call so we had to come down. The pool is filled with ants and not maintained well at all. The rooms on checkin comes with creamers which is only 3. We requested for more but the housekeeping lady told us that we only provide it for the check in room. Very cheap!!!
