Tylfull Hotel

Communication in English VERY difficult if not impossible. TV programs VERY limited for international guests. Coffee at breakfast nothing to write home about.

Nice comfortable Hotel, a bit far from main attractions but still OK. Receptionist Ms. Wane was extremely helpful, she helped me settle with a taxi , she speaks perfect English, very helpful service I would like to thank her once again!!!

所用の滞在で場所が限定され、周辺によく旅行で利用するホテルがなかったので星の数で選択したホテルです。週末は市内中心のよく利用するホテルに移動しましたが、同じ5つ星でもこちらは中国での、と付け加えておきます。残念だった違いは人です。客室担当の従業員は真面目そうで笑顔も好感が持てましたし、1階フロアでも一部の方には親切丁寧な対応で大変お世話になりました。ただフロントの特に女性の方のプロ意識が低く不快でした。大きなあくびを人目を気にせずしていたり、接客時に不愉快に思う対応もありました。ホテルは人で印象が大きく変わると思います。あと、朝食で利用するレストランは料理の品数も多く従業員の動きも良かったのですが、会場がカーテンで閉ざされ暗く陰気でした。部屋は設備が整っていて清潔でとても快適に過ごせました。地下鉄の駅とバス停がすぐ近くにあり交通の便がよく、すぐ近くに大きな整えられた公園もあり散歩も楽しめ環境も良かったです。

It is very funny that the restaurant inside the hotel doesn't take the international credit card. Otherwise, this hotel is really great with very friendly and helpful staffs

There is one single thing that ruined my entire experience - air conditioning!!!

We are not able to change the temperature. The room temperature is locked at 30C / 86F. It's damnly hot in the room!

Isn't this ridiculous? Why shouldn't I decide what temperature I want myself?

Great amenities and most are controlled by the Samsung device. Breafast is good. Need to improve in sound insulation.

The Tylfull is luxurious, comfortable and offers a great welcome.
The decor is very smart, the services are good and the bedrooms well-appointed. Lovely beds and lovely bedding, smart luxury bathroom. Immaculate housekeeping means the hotel is always spotless. I didn’t like the high tech lighting system but younger guests will probably love it. The best place here is the ‘Beer Garden restaurant’ - a lovely outdoor area which has great food from chef Chen and a great welcome from manager Yanna. I was really looked after so asked their names for this review.

L'hotel est très confortable

Good location, close to Xitucheng subway station. Excellent gym facilities, although the locker room is not spacious.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was included in our room cost, which was very competitive for the Beijing area. Our group included 17 people, and all enjoyed the stay. The pool was clean. Wifi worked well.

设施非常好，早餐丰富，服务员态度也很热情。房间内的遥控系统有时候不灵，有一盏灯关不上，晚上十二点很快就派了工程师来检查。请勿打扰的灯有时候会自己熄灭。总体来说非常好，下次都会住这里。

The hotel is meticulously clean and has a easy access. It's right in front of Exit D of Xitucheng(西土城) Station on Line 10.
The breakfast was good. One of the reviews says the English communication capability of the staff but they speak really good English.

Only two problems:

1) The walls are extremely thin. I literally hear almost "everything" from other rooms. It seems like the movable walls between guest rooms are for the fire escape reason. The hotel should add the soundproofing on them.

2) Unlike other hotels, the housekeeping staff is male. I don't care where they are men or women. However, I was so shocked when I saw these guys (2 guys in a team) were smoking while cleaning the rooms!

I never saw such an unprofessional scene. The whole hotel is NON SMOKING!! The hotel must do something about this!

レセプションでは英語・日本語は通じません。２泊でデポジット5000元要求され、なぜそんなに高いのか説明を求めましたが非常に怪訝な態度でまともに説明してくれませんでした。

It's a nice hotel but very local in the sense that almost no one speaks English there. I couldn't even explain what I want in my pizza (don't order, its horrible). The staff is friendly and they find the way to help eventually. But... It's no match to the international hotel chains.
But I did need to be at that location and I think it's the best hotel in that specific location. If you do speak Chinese, you will have no issue with the place.
