Ceyloni Lake View

We specifically booked The Suite Room because it had a bath, as my wife loves a good bath. UNfortunately the bath was broken, so unusable and to make matters worse, the shower ran out of hot water after approx 45 seconds, so we couldn't even get a decent shower. To be fair to the staff, they really tried to solve this issue, but were unable to and in the end they offered to swap us to much smaller rooms, which were actually in much better condition than ours, which was the most expensive room. Breakfast was good with friendly and polite service. In conclusion, the staff are great, the double rooms are nice with plenty of hot water. Just don't book the Suite Room until they've refurbished it. It's unfit for purpose.

Our host was amazing, we only stayed two nights but by the time we left we felt part of the family! Great location / view, lovely rooms, and hot showers! Would definitely recommend here for a place to stay in Kandy!

Fin placering med gåafstand til byen. Tæt på viewpoint. Selve hotellet er ikke specielt godt og ingen udsigt desværre.

Good location. Lots of stairs down to rooms and no safe in rooms was a negative, other than that everything was adequate. Basic rooms with deck that monkeys visit

Дружелюбный персонал. Отличные завтраки. Хороший wi-fi. За ужином на кухне перепутали заказанные блюда с одинаковым названием, вместо десерта принесли основное блюдо. Чтобы не платить за свою ошибку 4 раза пытались впарить его нам под разными предлогами. Номер нормальный, без излишеств. Вид на озеро почти закрыт строящимся перед отелем зданием. Скоро видимо придется менять название отеля.

Fint hotell, og veldig hyggelig betjening. Det bygges et nytt kompleks/hotell rett forran utsikt, så den var fraværende. Så rett inn i arbeidsområde.

God frokost ( plenty med mat). Ingen renhold på rommet ( vi var der 2 netter) .

Super beliggenhet, rolig og kort vei til utsiktspunkt og byn.

Vi kan kun på det varmeste anbefale ceyloni Lake View. Manageren og det øvrige personale var utrolig serviceminded. Vi havde et ikke så stort værelse men med rigtig god a/c og en dejlig altan med udsigt over søen og ned mod det store tand-tempel! ( OB’s ikke alle altaner har denne udsigt da der er ved at blive bygget et nyt hus foran som spærre for noget af udsigten) Dejligt st kunne sidde der morgen og aften. Vi fik alle morgener et helt fantastisk morgen måltid med masser af frisk frugt, youghurt, omelet og toastbrød ad libitum. Manageren var konstant opmærksom på vores behov. Beliggenheden var også perfekt, for selvom stedet ligger i højderne var der en rigtig god sti der førte lige ned til søen.
Til prisen et rigtigt godt hotel.

Otel'in fotoğrafları güzel görünüyordu fakat gerçek ile alakası yok. Göl manzarası gören sadece iki odası var onun harici tum odalar inşaat manzaralı ve gürültülü, herşey çok eski. Karıncalar odada geziyor, bakımsız durumda odalar. Internet çok yavaş. Sabah veya aksam sürekli cok gürültülü odalar. Kandy bölge olarak da çok iyi değildi, genel olarak hiç memnun kalmadık otelden.

Lille men pænt og rent hotel. Morgenmaden var exceptionel god og aberne på balkonen en oplevelse.😁

Really nice place. Good breakfast and very helpful people working there. Its on the hill, but not far from the city. The wiewpoint is very close, where you can see the city.
Unfortunately there wasnt wiew to the lake from my room, even if I had booked it.

Hotel staff was really polite and helpful. Breakfast was good, very basic in Sri Lanka. Fresh fruits, juice, tea, eggs and toast. Location was great, it was walking distance from the Kandy city area. Room was clean and had a nice view but sometimes there was not hot water in the shower. The hotel organized us a driver for a three day trip. Our driver, Suneth, was very kind, helpful and trustworthy. He knew a lot about different places and was a good guide for us on our trip.

We stayed at Ceyloni Lake View for 1 night as stop-over between Sigiriya Rock and Ella. We got to the hotel quite late so didn't have much time to see the town, but the service whilst we were at the hotel was fantastic. Clean room, charming staff and a great location for the train (if you are taking the Kandy to Ella train the next day). View from the hotel room was fantastic, had our own balcony overlooking the lake, and it was also just a short walk from some nice restaurants on the hill. Breakfast the next morning was amazing - great food and great service from the staff. The hotel even organised a tuk tuk to be ready for us as soon as we checked out to take us to Kandy train station with a very pleasant driver. No problems at all - would highly recommend staying here, particularly if you are taking the train the next morning as the location is perfect for this. Many thanks to the hotel.

The monkeys ruined our room just before our last night, the staff told us that we left the balcony door unlocked, evendow we don't remember doing that.
The staff was very nice and the location pretty good.

The location and view over the tooth temple was great. Breakfast and service also very good. We had a room on the lowest level which was not very clean and we had two coakroaches in the bathroom.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay in this hotel, the staff were very helpful and polite. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the staff; we checked out and left, forgot to remove our passports and valuables from the safe in our room. We turned back after driving for more than an hour. We were very happy to get back all our valuables!!

But on room on floor 3 no signal
Of wifi only show but can connect yo internet.Room was clean
