Cons:

We stayed at Ufulu Hotel for 2 nights and had money stolen from our room while staff had access to it. After leaving cash inside our room, we later discovered that money from a pair of jeans pocket and additional money from our suitcase were missing. Another staff member later told us that our room had been accessed by other people while we were away, yet the manager (Victor) never came back to update us on what happened. His attitude was dismissive and arrogant, making me feel like I was making up the story instead of being supported as guests. Although the amount stolen was not large, the experience of knowing someone went through our personal belongings was extremely upsetting and traumatic. Guests should be very careful with their valuables when staying here.

this place quoted a rate of $76 special online, and the booking showed a conversion rate of K132000 in local currency, but when i arrived they only allowed payment in US dollars otherwise if you wanted to pay in local currency, as is the law! they were charging 50% more ie k200000 Malawi kwacha. it is illegal to force people to pay in USD and the booking confirmation showed the rate in Malawi kwacha which was according to the bank rate, but did not allow me to pay this at the hotel. Illegal, and misleading.

Eine wunderschöne Anlage etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums, der Blick aus dem Zimmer auf den Garten war jeden Morgen sehr schön; schönes, sehr großes Zimmer; sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet, hervorragendes Restaurant (sowohl das Filetsteak als auch die Brasse waren sehr lecker); freundliche Rezeption mit funktionierendem und relativ preisgünstigem Flughafentransport; schöner, wenn auch kalter Swimmingpool

Pros:

The breakfast was great, lots of selections. The gym was modern and large with great equipment and lots of weights. The grounds were kept excellent and it was a refuge from the world.

Overall it's a very beautiful and nice place, with great gardens.
Pros:

Breakfast was good, balanced choice of food. The room were very nice and comfortable

Cons:

The aircon in the room was not working properly.

The gym had no towels and the door doesnt open easily from the inside, there's no handle.
