Very nice hotel, close to the Bahnhof and in the Altstadt (Old Town)
Pros:

We love staying at the Savoy! It was our third time staying there and will do so again. Perfect distance from the Bahnhof and in the heart of the Old Town. The two front desk receptionists are delightful, friendly, and welcoming. They serve a good breakfast buffet and the cafe is always kept clean. Our room was large and quiet, great storage and a good sized bathroom. All in all, an excellent stay!

Lovely, Clean , Modern
Pros:

Great Hotel , only a 5 minute walk from the train station. We walked in to get them to hold our bags , as we were early for check in , but they had the room available for us to use. Extremely clean modern room, nice shower, and lovely staff. Breakfast was nice, with beautiful fresh Orange Juice. Many shops, restaurants and coop close by. Great place to stay, as we were there at Easter, they even left us Easter chocolates .

Die Lage, das Personal sowie das Zimmer waren super, auch das Frühstück hat uns geschmeckt.

Cons:

Es gab leider ein paar Gäste im Hotel, welche sich überhaupt nicht zu benehmen wussten. Ab 4 Uhr morgens konnte niemand mehr von uns schlafen. Zudem wurden am Morgen ab ca. 5 Uhr diverse Lastwagen vom Einkaufsladen unten in der Strasse entladen, was zusätzlich so einiges an Lärm versursacht hat. Wir sind überhaupt nicht kleinlich, aber diese paar Gäste haben wohl die Zimmer ziemlich demoliert. Das Personal hat sich am morgen dafür entschuldigt, leider war für uns die Nacht aber schon gelaufen.

Spacious room in the heart of Bern
Pros:

The room was very spacious and modern. Enough space for two beds, a desk, closet and a large bathroom. The room was very clean!

Cons:

The reception and breakfast area were not that nice, very cramped into a corner. The breakfast room did not have any windows, therefore we did not have breakfast there but went elsewere. It was not appealing to us.

Incredible Stay at Hotel Savoy
Pros:

Amazing accommodations and service. The personal help at the front desk with the public transportation tickets, directions, and recommendations made for a wonderful experience in Bern. The shower is worth the stay.

Very comfortable, friendly hotel in the heart of the old town.
Pros:

The hotel was perfectly located in the heart of the old town, next to the railway station and main tram lines. We had all the main sights, restaurants, bars and shops right on our doorstep. Our room at the back of the hotel was quiet, well appointed and comfortable. All of the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast. We would highly recommend this hotel and the city. We had a memorable holiday.

Cons:

The breakfast room was a little too quiet and reserved for our liking. We don't need noisy music, but something in the background would have provided a little more atmosphere.

Wonderful time at the Savoy in Bern
Pros:

We spent five nights at the Savoy. It’s a very nice hotel, close to Old Town and just around the corner from the train station. The Savoy has a modern look and the rooms are pretty spacious. Everything was very clean and our bed was comfy. The bathroom has nice amenities. The staff at the Savoy are great. They’re friendly and professional and were happy to take care of anything we needed. Anna and Charles were so helpful and gave us good advice on how to get around the city, where to eat, things to do etc. And when we needed help with a small issue in our room, Charles made sure it was taken care of immediately. Bern is a fun city to visit and it’s a good central point if you want to visit multiple cities in Switzerland- many are just an hour away on the train. And if you’re going to stay in Bern - try the Savoy!
