Pros:

great location, super nice staff, we only stayed one night, the staff showed us where to explore on the map clearly, which was super helpful, the breakfast was good!

Bern is a great weekend away from Zurich at The Savoy
Pros:

The hotel front desk staff are all very friendly and welcoming as well as at breakfast. Our Comfort room was clean and spacious and quiet with the windows closed (it's on a somewhat busy street). It was an excellent choice for a weekend visit because it was comfortable, modern, and close to the train station. We paid for breakfast one day which was a good value. As expected there is a safe in the room plus a coffee maker and kettle which I always appreciate.

Cons:

As with all Swiss hotels, the rooms get very warm in winter, even with the heat turned off! I prefer it a bit cooler so it is good that the window can be opened. The shower had one combination bath gel, but I prefer separate shampoo and conditioner for a hotel of this class.

Swiss Perfection!
Pros:

From our arrival to our departure, everything about our stay at Savoy was perfect! The proximity to the train station was an added bonus. All of the staff were polite, helpful, friendly, and made us feel welcome. The room, the shower, the bed, and the amenities were all comfortable and easily available. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. We were able to see and do everything in Bern by foot as the hotel’s location is in the heart of the old town. We appreciated that the bus was available to us, should we need it. We will definitely be recommending The Savoy to friends and family as they visit this beautiful city!!

Perfect Location and Exceptional Staff – Hotel Savoy Bern
Pros:

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at your hotel for a week and enjoyed every moment of our visit. What made our stay especially memorable was the outstanding staff—everyone was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. Every request we made was handled promptly, efficiently, and always with a gracious smile.

We extend our special thanks to Charles, Valentina, and Katrin for their kindness and warmth, as well as to the breakfast ladies—unfortunately, we did not catch their names.

We are truly grateful for the excellent hospitality and would be delighted to return in the future.
