Home away from home. 1000% recommended lodge
Pros:

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it, particularly because of the exceptional staff and hospitality.

Dorothy, the manager, was absolutely amazing from the moment I arrived. She was incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. She even kindly allowed me to leave my luggage at the hotel while I travelled to Zimbabwe, which was extremely helpful and greatly appreciated.

Stanly, the chef, was also fantastic—very hospitable, friendly, and always welcoming. The food he prepares is absolutely delicious, and his cooking was definitely one of the highlights of my stay. Ms Silvia was always smiling, helpful, and so pleasant, which made every interaction with her a pleasure. A special thank you as well to Gerald for taking such great care of the beautiful gardens and keeping the surroundings so well maintained.

A special mention to Mulunde, who handled my transfers during my stay. He was honestly the best driver I had throughout my trip—professional, reliable, incredibly kind, and such a lovely person. We shared many wonderful stories and conversations along the way, which made every journey enjoyable. He is genuinely one of the kindest people I met during my trip. Thank you, Mulunde, for making my transfers such a pleasant experience. You are truly a credit to the hotel!

The hotel itself is in a very convenient location, just a six-minute drive from the airport. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped with good facilities, while the beautiful garden surroundings create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

Cons:

That I stayed just 2 nights.

Excellent value, staff, and location
Pros:

This is a very well run accommodation. Sylvia, Stanley and Palata are very friendly and helpful in every possible way. Location is excellent, and you can walk to anywhere in town pretty easily from here. They will help you with anything you need in terms of transportation or activities. Highly recommended if you’re looking for an excellent value and a relaxing environment.

Fantastic stay!
Pros:

Great location! Quiet and just a short walk to town. Lovely staff, seriously warm, kind, and helpful! Clean and comfortable, nice breakfast too. We especially liked Ignacus, the onsite artist who we could watch paint! We purchased several pieces including one we commissioned. Excellent value.

A highly recommended lodge
Pros:

Located in a tropical garden, the lodge has charming cottages with all comforts and very clean. Airport transportation is offered at a reasonable price. I appreciated the dinner served, good quality. The entire staff is very friendly.

Cons:

I would suggest that all products served have their prices displayed.

Overall, Kamunjila Lodge has great potential and already offers a relaxing environment. With a few thoughtful improvemen
Pros:

We recently stayed at Kamunjila Lodge and had a pleasant overall experience. The lodge has a peaceful atmosphere, attractive surroundings, and the staff were polite and welcoming throughout our stay.

Cons:

Some guests may also appreciate having tea and coffee-making facilities available in the room, especially for an early morning or late evening refreshment. In addition, a slightly firmer mattress could provide better comfort for guests who prefer more support while sleeping.

Generally good. Great value for money. Nice cool garden.
Pros:

Bfst is mediocre. Coffee service needs work.
Great rooms and bathrooms.
Staff are friendly.
Having our own verandah with couch was great.
3 Night stay. Booked 2 nights & extended one extra night.

Cons:

Curtains are too short to cover the windows. Why ?
Beer fridge needs a service, and have some beers in the store room for when they run out on a saterday.

Pros:

I had an amazing stay at Kamunjila Lodge. The property itself is very nice, with a beautiful garden that creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere. What really made the experience special was the staff, the chef and the reception lady were incredibly kind and welcoming, and everything truly felt like home. They went above and beyond to accommodate me, even preparing specific meals that were not on the menu, which I really appreciated. The whole stay felt genuine

Cons:

The only small downside is that some of the furniture feels a bit outdated and could be improved to better match the overall quality of the place
