Benshujia Hotel Apartment Pazhou Complex

HORRIBLE!! Please note this is not a hotel or service apartment. This is basically a unit in local apartment complex. The room is not clean, the quality of bed is low, the air condition was not cool all night and we only can contact the check-in person who I think live in the same apartment but another floor.
bathroom is the worst, with the rotten wallpaper on the floor. Not a nice stay, not a hotel as the name mentioned. And beware real room picture doesnt match the picture on the website at all.

it is a waste of time to stay here, it has a kitchen but it is not functional at all, no utensils or plates, cups, cutlery, so why have a kitchen in the apartment, completely pointless. It is extremely difficult to find this building arriving by taxi as it is in a residential apartment complex of about 15 tall buildings, so its like arriving in a maze, just awful and stressful especially at 11pm at night.

Our room did not look anything like what was in the photo! If you're a westerner, the cleanliness standard is not comparable to an apartment hotel in Australia. The hotel was in a good location close to a metro station to get around and the bed was new and quite comfortable.

However, the Wifi didn't work, despite many attempts to get them to fix it, the second air conditioner leaked a puddle of water over the floor, the flush handle on the toilet fell off, and while they cleaned it, it was just still dirty.

It was also overpriced at AUD$167 per night. There are real hotels available for not much more. Perhaps $60 per night is what it's worth.

You will however get an authentic Chinese experience as you're among the locals and shops. There was one person who spoke English, and another we could have basic communication on WeChat.

This was the first time I came to Guangzhou for a business trip. I prefer this place to stay. The sound insulation of the walls was satisfactory though the surrounding was very alive. I can deal with my work without distractions. I connected wechat with one of the staff who knew English well and helped me a lot. Even answering questions when I was outside. Love this place and the staff. I recommend this place and will stay here again next year.

It’s well located near Wanshengwei station, only 5 mins walk from the railway station. The room is huge and very clean with everything. Bed is so comfortable. Will definitely come back.

I stayed here for one night last year and enjoyed the service. This year I still chose it and didn’t disappoint me. Staff was exceptional. I asked for late check in and the staff said no problem without hesitation. And helping me with every need, from cleaning my room to helping me to find the next place to go. Spacious room with soft mattress. The surrounding facilities is extremely perfect, including restaurants, shopping, entertainment. Happily come back again.

We booked the business apartment which should have two double beds and separate bedroom. When we arrived, we were put in a studio and it was filthy! The person that took us there didn’t speak any English. I complained to my contact on wechat who moved us the next day to the flat we had actually booked. It was miles better but still not clean. The property is advertised as “serviced apartment” with optional breakfast, but it is in fact an apartment in an apartment block, there are no facilities apart from daily “cleaning”. The only positive is the location, close to amenities and very convenient for the Canton Fair Complex.

Wonderful apartment and pretty landlord! This is one of the best apartments that I have lived in Gruangzhou. Everything of this trip is so perfect!!!

Clean and functional
We really had a great stay. Everything that we might need was there.A kitchen with stove,boiler,oven,microwave,utensils.It was beyond what we expected.Their services were really great and the apartment was nice.Wish we could stayed longer.Would definitely come back again had the chance to return in.Absolutely recommend.

Close to exhibition center，helpful staff, clean, quiet. These apartments are value for money and good quality, so if you don't mind having to call reception for a few items you will have a good stay.
