Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus Scioto Downs

I have always been happy with my stay at Hampton Inn when I’m in town for nearly anything, the casino of course makes entertainment easily accessible but the real winner here is the fine folks who work the continental breakfast buffet, A&D! You guys are awesome, everything is always cooked to perfection and clean/sanitized as can be! Besides that Amanda and DaLeReese are positive friendly faces it’s always nice to see, polite & ready to assist with anything you may need. Thank you guys, happy to know a familiar face :)

I have been staying weekly. Angela was at check in. I have to say she was amazing.

Great breakfast buffet. Ciara does a fabulous job getting the breakfast out hot and tasty. She is also so friendly to all her customers. Thanks for making my morning great!

This property is located right next to a popular restaurant and casino. Right off the route heading into Downtown Columbus. Great location for anyone wanting to layover, especially traveling throughout the Midwest. The staff was very nice, and a special thanks to Susie at the front desk for her amazing hospitality. The breakfast was delicious and the kitchen staff were very nice! Parking is free and is building adjacent but also seems to be overflow parking into the mall lot. Front and back.

We enjoyed staying here it was connected to the casino the rooms were spacious and comfortable very clean great value and courteous staff!

We didn't have any hot water for showering the entire 3 days. Everything else was fine.

Very cove rooms! Also clean and the bed was comfortable as well. Breakfast was the normal breakfast offered by Motels, nothing spectacular.

The first night there. The hot water was not so hot. My room there was hair on the wall of the shower. Tried to go to bed and the people on the 4th floor were loud. It sounded like they were jumping around. On the second night the people in the room next to me, decided that at 2:30 am was a good time to have sex. The bed banging against the wall was the worst. Plus I had to ask for more towels. They don't clean the rooms every night. My trash was full and there was no trash bags in the cans either.Also there needs to be food places to be affordable. The casino food prices are high. But other than that it was good stay.

Casino and restaurant's were a bonus we never knew about. Was not advertised when we booked through Expedia.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Right outside downtown Columbus, the hotel is very easy to access. The rooms are very spacious and modern and the bed was amazingly comfortable. There is a casino right next to with easy access from the hotel. There are several restaurants in the casino that are very reasonably priced so you do not even have to leave the hotel for food or entertainment. The hotel offers a continental breakfast which had ample offerings and very tasty. The pool was very clean and had an enjoyable temperature and there was a decent gym. I would definitely stay here again!

Everything was wonderful. Amanda did great job with breakfast. Was probably the best we’ve had here.

The breakfast was great as usual with many choices. The workers, Amanda and Dalereese always kept everything full and clean. Also, very friendly and helpful.

Sierra had the nicest breakfast bar set up!
And Angela at the front desk is the nicest kindest host ever always a pleasure staying

All staff was pleasant, welcoming and courteous. Room was clean, in good condition and complete, except for lack of a safe (afterall it is attached to a Caesar's casino.)
The free breafast (open until 10:00 AM) was skimpy and cold at 9:00. The Fish dinner at Brews Bros is reliably excellent.
Hampton Scioto likes to regard itself as a resort. it's not; just an over-priced hotel with no close competition attached to a thriving racino (race track and casino.) HINT: Grove City, a short 8 miles NW directly off Interstate 71, provides over 18+ hotels with most offering room rates for 50% to 80% less
