Important information:

Please note only guests with a Visa TP - 11 or Permiso - 5 / PTP - 5 tourist visa are exempt from paying value added tax (IVA) during their stay. Breakfast is not included for children under 11 years of age when using existing beds and should be paid at the hotel upon check in.

Mi estancia fue regular, alfombras desgastadas, el ventilador del bano malogrado

Solo me gusto la atencion en el bar cerca a la piscina donde nos atendieron a pesar de que ya iban a cerrar.

Cons:

Me cobraron 20+ dolares y no pedi ningun servicio. Estuve alojada en el Hyatt Regency por unos dias antes de pasarme al Estelar, y olvide una prenda. Explique esto a recepcion de Estelar y se ofrecio conectarme con el Hyatt que esta al lado, pero no me dijo que el costo era tan alto, de lo contrario hubiera ido personalmente al Hyatt a solicitar la prenda que fue gentilemente recojida por el botones del Hyatt.

En el check in en recepcion me dijeron que podria disfrutar del Ski room en el ultimo piso pero cuando fuimos alli estaba cerrado por ser lunes, lo cual no nos informaron en recepcion.

Como saliamos de madrugada para viajar pedimos un desayuno para llevar como es costumbre en hoteles de 5 estrellas que incluyen desayuno, pero nos lo negaron.

Sehr angenehmes Hotel in Toplage
Pros:

Das imposant wirkende, sehr gut ausgestatte Hotel mit 51 Stockwerken liegt nur durch eine schmale Straße vom Strand getrennt im für mich besten Stadtteil Cartagenas - Bocagrande. Die Lobby wirkt nicht zuletzt aufgrund der Raumhöhe großzügig und bietet bequeme Sitzmöglichkeiten mit Blick auf Strand und Meer. Die Skybar 51 im 51. Stock bietet neben modernen Räumlichkeiten, eine mit Loungemöbeln ausgestattete Terrasse mit sensationellem Rundumausblick auf Cartagena. Ausnahmslos immer freundliches Personal. Toller Poolbereich mit Bar und schattig gelegenem, bestuhltem Bereich mit Tischen. Handtücher werden gestellt. Gutes Gym mit Meerblick und Minipool auf Terrasse. Um das Hotel herum gute Auswahl an Restaurants, Supermärkten, Drogerien und am Strand selbst sog. Kioskos (Chiringuitos) mit hervorragendem Essen für wenig Geld (Kiosko de Bony war unsere Wahl). Das Hotel hat ebenfalls zwei Restaurants u.a. Sushi sowie im Eingangsbereich eine bestuhlte Kaffeebar. Recht preiswerte Taxis befinden sich zu jeder Zeit in der eleganten, in den Baukörper integrierten Zufahrt des Hotels. Allgemeinflächen sind klimatisiert. Zimmer großzügig und elegant mit raumhoher, durchgängiger Fensterfront oder teils mit Balkon, mit weitläufigem Ausblick auf Strand, Meer und Skyline Boca G.. Bequeme Matratzen. Frühstücksbuffet mit hervorragender Auswahl an Speisen. Der Frühstücksbereich ist angenehm klimatisiert und bietet eine Terrasse mit tollem Ausblick. Was ich bisher aber noch nirgendwo auf der Welt gesehen habe, ist das unglaublich kundenfreundliche Handling des bis offiziell 10 Uhr verfügbaren Buffets. Selbst wenn man kurz vor 10 kommt, wird man freundlich begrüsst und die Speisen sind noch sicher bis "20 nach" verfügbar und können ohne Druck verzehrt werden. Kaffee bleibt immer verfügbar und man kann noch lange nach 11 Uhr auf der Terrasse sitzen und den Ausblick genießen. Sehr sicher und angenehmer Rückzugsort vom Trubel im Zentrum, das fußläufig in ca. 15 Min. erreichbar ist.

Cons:

Kissen waren mir etwas zu hart, obwohl es mehrere Härtegrade gab. W-lan ab und zu etwas schwach, aber in Ordnung. Skybar nur für Erwachsene zugängig, was verständlich ist, weil man keinen Kindergarten da oben haben will. Es wäre aber nett, wenn man vielleicht eine Stunde früher aufsperrt, oder die Anwesenheit von Kindern bis 20 Uhr erlaubt. Wir konnten die tolle Atmosphäre leider nicht als Familie genießen. Der Betreiber der Bar ist wohl extern, was als Begründung für diese Handhabe genannt wurde. Unabhängig davon nutzt der Betreiber ja die Räumlichkeiten des Hotels und wäre mit zusätzlichem Umsatz sicherlich nicht unzufrieden. Mich haben die Teppichböden der Gänge auf unserer Etage am ersten Tag etwas irritiert, weil diese teils mit Fusel und dergleichen versehen waren. Hier sollte regelmäßig gesaugt werden - was am nächsten Tag auch gemacht wurde, dann aber wieder etwas mehr wurde in den 10 Tagen, wo wir da waren. Dies würde das ohnehin supersaubere Hotel noch besser wirken lassen. Die vor dem Hotel gelegene Straße ist keine Schnellstraße, ist aber tageszeitabhängig mal mehr mal weniger frequentiert. Lärmmäßig wird man davon im Hotel nicht beeinträchtigt. Dennoch sollte man wachsam sein, da die Interpretation des Zebrastreifens und von Verkehrsregeln von den lokalen Verkehrsteilnehmern unterschiedlich ausgelegt wird. Vor allem Motorradfahrer sind mit Vorsicht zu genießen, da sie teils unerwartet von links und rechts an vorfahrtgewährenden Autos vorbeischießen.

La piscine est top !
La vue de la chambre est très belle, les vitres méritaient d’être faites et cela était en cours lors de notre départ.

Cons:

Impossible de monter au skybar voir le coucher de soleil avec une ado…
Le restaurant était un peu trop climatisé le soir.

It's fine just management could be better

Like the rooms and location.

Cons:

Breakfast could be better for a 4 star hotel, there is not coffee maker in the rooms!! How come?
Also one of the management should mind his business when we asked to go to sky bar (which was still open) he said why we didn't go a the night before because he saw us arriving early. Told him that is not his business. We paid a service not to be control by management. Of course, I will raise a formal complaint regarding this situation.

It was a ok hotel to hype up for what’s really worth.
Pros:

It had a good pool area but nothing else for fun.

Cons:

The mini bar snacks are well overpriced as well as the cleaning service sucks. Breakfast is not the great experience.
