Important information:

Please note only guests with a Visa TP - 11 or Permiso - 5 / PTP - 5 tourist visa are exempt from paying value added tax (IVA) during their stay. Breakfast is not included for children under 11 years of age when using existing beds and should be paid at the hotel upon check in.

Gutes Hotel
Pros:

Sehr schöne Zimmer zum Strand. Grosses Frühstücksbüffet.

Cons:

Keine Sonnenschirme am Pool.
Für den späteren Checkout wurden für 4 Stunden etwa CHF 60.- verrechnet. Das finde ich als Kunde, wo schon ein paar Mal in diesem Hotel war, doch zu viel.

Expérience très très moyenne en 5 étoiles
Pros:

La vue de la chambre

Cons:

Le bâtiment est immense et impressionnant au premier regard, mais cela reste son principal atout. Le reste de l’hôtel est plutôt moyen et donne une impression un peu ancienne, que ce soit dans les chambres ou les prestations. Si vous avez l’habitude des 5 étoiles en Europe, en Asie ou même en Afrique du Nord, vous risquez d’être déçus par le niveau global.
Le petit déjeuner n’était franchement pas ouf. Comparé à celui du Sofitel à Bogota, il n’y a clairement rien à voir, que ce soit en variété ou en qualité. Les produits semblaient assez médiocres, davantage au niveau d’un 3 étoiles que d’un 5 étoiles..
Aucune restriction particulière pour la piscine : certains ne prennent même pas de douche avant d’y aller, nagent en short et t-shirt, et les enfants jouent dans le jacuzzi en faisant des plongeons dans la piscine, ce qui enlève totalement le côté haut de gamme et relaxant. La télévision ne fonctionne pas correctement, l’internet n’est pas connecté à la TV et il est impossible de caster son téléphone. On te facture un ouvre-bouteille ainsi qu’une assiette et des couverts… les serviettes visage sentaient le poisson, et il n’y avait ni café ni eau offerte à l’arrivée tout est payant, si tu veux tu peux consommer ce qui est dans le mini-bar, ce qui est loin des standards d’un 5 étoiles…
Plus l’odeur bizarre dans les couloirs …

Do quarto deixa mto a desejar , esta precisando de manutençao, não tem reposiçao de amenidades, me colocaram em um quarto que não era o q comprei tive q voltar e pedir para mudar. Travesseiros duros e desconfortaveis. Instalaçoes precisando de manutençao, café da manhã mto fraco e a comida realmente era mto ok para menos, estão precisando de um chefe urgente.Boa apresentação mas bem ruim até no basico.

Está demasiado lleno en enero: el buffet del desayuno y la zona de la piscina parecen paseo de río, demasiado lleno de gente, lo que hace que la atención sea mala y todo más incómodo. La ubicación en boca grande, cero recomendada para enero, todas las noches trancón de una hora para ir a la ciudad amurallada

Great hotel, but horrible customer service for a simple request.

It was a very nice hotel, and had a lot of quality features. Great food and rooms.

Cons:

Upon check-in, they offered to upgrade me to a balcony room for an extra $30/night for all 3 nights. I agreed for the upgrade. Turns out that right above my room was either a ballroom or some kind of construction going on. All day from morning to evening, there was constant banging and tables and chairs being moved, banging, etc.... I brought it to the parent company's attention as well as the Estelar's attention, and asked that they refund the difference of the $90 upgrade since it was not worth it and ruined my Birthday vacation. They ultimately refused to do so, over a simple and reasonable $90 refund request. That is pathetic customer service and inexcusable for a hotel to do.
