The breakfast was fresh and facilities clean
Nothing i can point to, everything was ok
Nothing! Absolutely stupid payment system, they made us wait at their reception because they would not deduct funds from the card I put! They ask me to pay cash, asking me to make a bank transfer...such an inconvenient system when I booked via booking.com
The location and surroundings
1. I expected an air conditioned room - NO AIR CONDITIONING, on reporting, there are tons of excuses and no action
2. Dinner was not up to standard
3. There were noisy maintenance workers working in the passage, painting when I am trying to sleep
4. Your service goes from bad to worse, i reported the dinner service, nothing has changed
Lovely, clean, good value for money. Good food. Friendly staff
Slow service.
Very luxurious and the staff very friendly
No hot water
Overall stay was lovely.
Got to go to the spa which was amazing.
The food portions were huge so we loved that.
Despite the power crisis they have really managed the place well
Breakfast could be better but it was alright.
First night food was fantastic!
Second night, same meal, the food was disgusting! Initially, TV and telephone did not work, soap dispense in the shower was empty.
Generally, very good!
On the 4th / 5th, I would have offered a 9 out of 10. There were some minor issues with the room, TV not working, telephone not working. Food was incredible, I ordered a T-bone steak, it was to perfection. Breakfast, breakfast starts at 06h30, at 07h00 the staff were still preparing for breakfast, totally unprepared!!!
On the 5th / 6th, all issues addressed, ordered the same meal as the previous night, as room service, IT WAS DISGUSTING!!!!! Steak was cold and extremely tough and the knife provided was not a steak knife and was so blunt. The meal took about fifty minutes to prepare, whereas on the previous night, it was served within thirty minutes.
Pretty much everything! The staff were always willing to accommodate and were very polite. The room was a great size and I loved the inbuilt furniture style.
I wish they had an actual double bed in the double room, versus 2 twins combined. Made the bed a little uncomfortable
The food was delicious and the staff was very welcoming
The buffet breakfast was delicious and had a variety of healthy food.
The air conditioning system should be connected to the generator in case of power outages
It’s a nice place
The staff were not welcoming when l arrived , they watched me from the car pushing my own two big bags and noone assisted me,
Beautiful property
Nothing
The breakfast has a great variety, and the staff are excellent, they even remembered which sauce I like and brought it to my table without me asking. The peacocks are a lovely touch and there's something about Twangale's shampoo that makes my hair look absolutely great!
The double rooms are along a corridor, much like a cheap hostel. You hear every single footstep and midnight conversation as other guests are coming back to their rooms, sometimes intoxicated and shouting. The keycards make a loud beep and the doors click so loud when closing again that it's impossible to sleep solidly through the night, you hear absolutely everything (and I'm not even a light sleeper!) On top of all this noise, you have the generator running constantly. The last time I stayed in a suite which was much better, but considering the price of the double rooms, which is all I needed, it was terrible value for money.
The food was excellent 👌🏽, my compliments to the chef/s.
Lots of lovely different flavours.
Linen was clean and fresh.
The staff were wonderful, extremely friendly, and always went the extra mile.
Cockroachs in the bathroom and a dead one on the hand towel.
Side lamps were not working.
Value for money; large rooms and comfortable beds; good air conditioning
First room provided the bathroom light didn't work. No problem get maintenance to fix it. Instead was moved to another room at 9.30 p.m.. That was when I realized that the room wasn't really ready for the customer - the light switch was hanging off the room in fact... dangerous and unsightly.... The room I was shifted to was an upgraded room - huge. Both rooms had very comfortable beds. The new room... tried to take a shower.. no water coming out the hot water taps. No water coming out of the hot water bath tap. No water coming out of the hot water tap in the basin. Eventually they turned on the hot water and it worked but such basic things really concerned me.
