Azzeman Hotel

I really like the hotel and staff but the rooms are extremely hot and no AC. We had to change hotel because we couldn't stand how hot it gets even with a fan.

We have a son in a wheelchair and the staff at Azzeman are excellent, we have been here 3 times now and cannot fault the staff in any way!

The hotel seems to be under improvement which is also great

I loved everything about Azzeman Hotel. I stayed at Holiday Inn Washington-Dulles International an IHG Hotel before I flew to Addis Ababa. Azzeman Hotel is the same standard as the hotel I mentioned above. The shuttle was on time to pick me up. The hotel is only about 5 minutes away from the airport. Azzeman is very clean, bed is very comfortable, nice shower, has excellent Wi-fi service. The staff at the front desk are amazing and very efficient at what they do. I loved every minute of my stay because everybody starting from bellman, room cleaning staff all the way up goes extra miles to make your stay very pleasant. Today is exactly a week since I arrived at Azzeman. Had originally planned to stay here for a week and change to a different hotel but I have decided to stay at Azzeman for the remaining time of my stay in Addis which is about 3 more weeks😀

Rooms are great, but very close to nightclubs so too noisy

Drapes are not closed completely to block lights from outside and noise from neighboring streets and loud music was discomforting during my stay at the hotel

The hotel plays nickel and dime like cheap airlines. They tend to put additional charge for a couple even though they advertise the room for two adults.

Hotel does airport pickup,but initially I had no response on an email to them so had to call to confirm.
The room was clean, always had hot water & the wifi reception was good too. Staff were friendly & the breakfast was also very good too. Would recommend

the hotel was clean and secured. worker where excellent, friendly The phones where not working could callout local or international, messages where not sent to my room. Breakfasts where very good.

I stayed here for a total of 9 nights in May and June and had a lovely stay. The hotel is very convenient to the airport with a free shuttle. Hotel staff were exceptionally friendly, even when I regularly locked myself out of the room. Room service is prompt, always available, and affordable. Rooms were clean, although the second one I stayed in needed an upgrade. The rooms are warm and have no air conditioner. If you leave the window open, it fills with mosquitoes. The hotel really needs to invest in A/C or install screens. I got a massage at the spa but I wouldn't recommend this, as it was not particularly relaxing. The elevators are really slow and often out of service so I took the stairs most of the time. Laundry service was prompt. The wifi works decently even in the rooms. The TV has screen-mirroring available but I could never get it work.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel for those looking for convenience, cleanliness, and general comfort.

Great location. Amharic is Ethiopia's national language so not many people including the hotel staff speak English. Overall great hotel.

Azzeman hotel is a gemstone among the loads of hotels in Addis. It’s centrally located, staff very friendly and considerate, the facilities work excellently, especially the WiFi service, which is the best I have had in Addis in the last five years.

Great value for money in central area.

Perfectly comfortable rooms that were kept clean. Staff were generally helpful. Food was acceptable but perhaps could improve a little. There are a few options of places to eat nearby but the Addis traffic fumes and rather crazy pavements meant walking too far was a challenge. Taxis are readily available. Overall better than other hotels I’ve used in Addis

Great Hotel in Bole, close enough to everything. Wonderful staff, good food. Only downside a little tired in places. The rooms are not air conditioned as advertised, but staff go beyond to make your stay and make up for the minor shortfalls, so would recommend, and would stay again.
