Breakfast was below expectation. My room was noisy. Strange lay out of hotel and problematic getting there.

Pros:

Stayed here for 2 nights on a stopover while doing the trans mongolian express. The hotel and room were very nice, but the hotel is located very far out from Irkutsk in a residential area. The hotel is very much catered for Chinese tourists. As part of our expedia booking we should have received a free room upgrade, welcome drink and welcome gift. We received none of this. When I asked reception about it I was told that pur welcome drink was the bottle of water in our room!

Only place to stay!
Pros:

A return visit. Continues to remain a great place to stay. Had 2 suites and they are fantastic. River views. Good breakfast. Huge bathtub and separate shower. Nice Chinese style restaurant on top (9th) floor. English speaking and helpful staff. A real oasis in Irkutsk.
