In the city's heart, and walkable distance to train station. A lot of space in the halls and rooms. Delicious breakfast.

Kleines Stadthotel mit nettem Personal
Pros:

Stadthotel Nähe Zentrum. Sauber und freundliches Personal. Englischkenntnisse allerdings noch ausbaufaehig. Zimmer gross, Kuehlschrank u Fernsehen vorhanden. WiFi funktioniert tadellos u ist schnell. Das Bad koennte in der Ausstattung gelegentlich eine Renovierung vertragen. Fruestuecksbueffett umfangreich. Kostenfreie Parkplaetze auf dem Hotelgelaende.

Quiet, no traffic noise.
Pros:

Close to the train station, hardy breakfast (it was extra price but worth it), our room faced a pedestrian walkway so no traffic sounds. Only birds, and the odd person walking by. The staff all spoke English with some variety of skill. They helped us with getting to the temple, and suggested things to see in the city. The drinking water was always full in the hallway. We came at a time of low tourism, but we lucked out that it was their Buryat New Year Festival.
