Great Kandy Hotel
Pros:

Perfect location on the lake, 10 min walk to the temple and an extra 5 min to the town centre/old town. Although you have to cross the road to the lake side and it can be a bit daunting with all the traffic whizzing by!
The room was very large, and so was the bathroom and everything worked perfectly. Bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning unit was a bit loud. If you look closely you can see the hotel needs a lick of paint and updating a bit, but otherwise it was perfect for 2 nights. It was very close to some nice restaurants too. The staff were lovely and always willing to help.

Cons:

Nothing really, we felt very comfortable and relaxed there.

Pros:

Gute Lage, nur durch die Strasse vom See getrennt (zur Info: man kann da nicht baden). Wir hatten ein Zimmer ohne Seeblick (303), dadurch war es ruhiger, da es nicht auf die Strasse gerichtet ist. Jedoch war es ziemlich warm im Zimmer, es hat aber eine Klimaanlage und einen Balkon.
Das Frühstück war lecker, das Personal freundlich.
Man kann am See entlang ins Zentrum laufen.

Cons:

Klimaanlage könnte sauberer sein.

Sehr gut ausgestattetes und geräumiges Zimmer, Sauberkeit top. Toller Ausblick auf den See. Whirlpool war nach einem anstrengenden Tag genau das richtige um zu entspannen.

Cons:

Lärm von der Straße war auch nachts deutlich wahrnehmbar. Das Essen im Restaurant des Hotels hat uns persönlich nicht überzeugt, da es wenig gewürzt war.

Pros:

Hyggeligt lille hotel. Morgenmad fin, men ikke prangende. Værelset var perfekt til os. Vi var 3 og der var hems. Temperaturen i rummet var dog lidt svær at indstille men det gik ok. Perfekt gåafstand til byen og serværdigheder.

Lake side location and only a short walk from the city centre - very happy with our choice!
