Great place but a little far from the market places
Staff was very helpful. I didn't speak the language and so they spoke to me in English even though it was hard for them. The rooms needs some work and or remodeling and they need to take down that they have a pool because the pool is out of service. Breakfast was OK.
Was not informed that there was only back up power operating for the main building until we had reached the room. Finally had power restored several hours later. Only had breakfast once during the stay due to patrons smoking in the dining room.
It's a new hotel, set back from the Asean Road, in the middle of the local Chinatown. Taxis have a difficult time finding it. The staff was great, even though they were not used to non-Chinese customers. It helped that I can speak Chinese, because I don't think they spoke much Lao or English.
The breakfast had nothing much to appeal to non-Chinese tastes, and the pool needed a filter and some chlorine to turn it from green back to blue. But I was the only one who used the pool during our stay... The Wifi was super good, and everything was new and fully functional, except maybe the electrical outlets. Those were abundant but not designed to accept a polarized plug, with one side wider than the other. All in all, a good value for your money, but probably not for everyone.
