Handy for a stay before cruising from Southampton
Pros:

Lovely hotel, the Lodge rooms were modern and comfortable.
The attached pub served good food and were good value.

Very noisy at times with room doors constantly banging closed and heard throughout the floor.
Pros:

Fast and easy with a good selection of cereals.

Cons:

Full English seemed to have been pre-made and pit under a heat lamp as only took 2-3mins to arrive at the table, eggs and sausage were over cooked.

A comfortable and friendly stay and excellent value for money!
Pros:

I booked to stay one night, as was attending my niece and her husband's 30th Wedding Anniversary on the Saturday evening and night, and enjoyed my stay so much, that I booked to stay an extra day and left on the Monday morning!

Cons:

I had a little wait when I first booked in, as my room wasn't ready at the required time, but the staff were extremely accommodating as they switched me to an alternative room, one which was ready!

South Downs by car - you can't get mor central; that was my assumption and the location delivered.
Pros:

The location! 30 minutes by car from everything: Portsmouth 30 min, Southampton 30 min, hiking around Queen Elizabeth Country Park 30 min, Jane Austen's house ... OK 40 min.

Cons:

The room was a little run down, not dirty, just showing its age.

Prima geschikt voor een kort verblijf.
Pros:

Ruime kamer met goed geoutilleerde badkamer. Op loopafstand van het winkelcentrum in Whiteley.

Cons:

Tussendeur naar naastgelegen kamer. Dit zijn altijd geluidslekken. De buren zijn bijna letterlijk te verstaan.

Lovely stay, staff were super helpful and the breakfast was lovely!
Pros:

Room was clean but looked a little tired, marks on the wall and on the chair in the room. Overall we had a very good stay it was a comfortable room the staff were excellent! My only one quibble was the food at the pub next door for our evening meal was not very nice, I had Rissotto and you could have glued windows with it. The staff member that dealt with me over it was excellent and apologised to me and was absolutely brilliant! The rest of the food seemed ok according to our party.
