Staff turned up almost immediately after I complained about the sofa bed not made for the kids. Sunday Roast was good.
Reception is in the restaurant and staff were not very attentive in the restaurant. I was literally abandoned until I walked up to the bar to ask how orders are being taken.

Modern, uncluttered & everything worked. Basic but it met my needs. Quiet & I slept well.

Breakfast in the adjoining pub was underwhelming. Weak coffee and a lukewarm full English. If we stayed again we'd go to one of the many restaurants in the nearby retail park.

The hallway leading to the rooms desperately needs refurbishment. The carpet was dirty and actually burnt in front of one room. The room itself, I had clean sheets and the bathroom was clean. The carpets needed a clean. Was both surprised and disappointed.
Great location, nice spacious room, very clean
High pitched ringing coming from the electrics (potentially the headboard and/or TV which you can't cut the power off for), which kept me up all night. Noise wasn't noticeable at first, but when you are trying to sleep that is all you can hear. Additionally, it would be nice to have low profile pillows available. Pillows were too high for me, causing uncomfort and neck pain.

Nice breakfast, bed was comfortable, room and bathroom were generally clean. Reasonable amount of parking and polite, helpful staff. Bedroom has good black out curtains and secure storage for luggage before check-in and after check-out if needed.
The desk mirror that can fold into the table had a lot of crumbs in it so I didn't get the impression it was beign thoroughly cleaned.
