This property is nice and basic. I don’t believe it’s the top 10 hotels to stay in chiang mai but it done the job
1) My first time staying at star hotel where service told me I’m limited to two bottles of water and you have to pay to get more. 2) power went out in my premier room and I got a downgrade to a smaller room, all other hotels I’ve been to either same grade or upgrade. 3) the smaller room’s cup is very dirty.
Loved this property. Fantastic ambiance, great rooms, helpful staff. Would definitely come back. Breakfast was awesome as well.
The hotel was beautiful. The only thing that spoiled the experience were the tiny ants in one of the rooms that were even on the bed. The staff were receptive and sprayed the room when we told them about it, but it did not eliminate this problem completely. The buffet was good and worth paying a little extra for. The location was excellent.

Love the place and location, so close to everything but still very quiet and peaceful. The staff were very friendly.
We were staying in the Away Vegan Resort Thrapae which did not really suit so tried this place just down the road. What a find. Fantastic food, service and atmosphere even with the storms. Ì have an allergy to mushrooms so the chef made me spring rolls without mushrooms.
Nothing was too much trouble. Going to tell our travel agent to book here rather than the vegan resort [see my separate review on Away vegan retreat. Thanks to all the staff for looking after us.
I didn’t receive any benefits
I spent a very good time in this hotel. My room was spacious, well furnished with everything needed. Would definitely come back another time. Thks to the staff for their kindness.
The property is located close enough to walk to everything! The breakfast was decent but could be easily missed. The gym is lackluster as its just treadmills abd a few dumbells. The pool is nice and he staff are great!

Perfect stay at De Chai The Deco Hotel! The location is excellent—within walking distance of everything. The hotel was very clean, and the rooms were spacious and luxurious. Breakfast was great, offering a variety of options, including pancakes, toast, omelets, fruits, vegetables, and more. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended
