Idyllic and tranquil
Pros:

An idyllic, tranquil escape from the bustle of Gwalior. All the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, it was lovely to meet Santosh who we heard about from Neemrana Fort Palace hotel. A special mention for the head waiter Rajendra too, who is such a gentleman. We explored the temples, watched the birds and mongoose and saw a fantastic display from one of the peacocks! The food is delicious and well priced and our shower was excellent!

A perfect paradise!
Pros:

Definitely stay here when visiting Gwalior! Beautiful rooms, amazing grounds (with temples!), really great restaurant and excellent breakfast. Afternoon tea included!

No noisy wedding celebration on the campus, unlike other hotels.

Pros:

Food was really amazing. All meals were freshly made, hot and tasty.
Hospitality was amazing. Staff was great, also helped us to arrange cabs for us.
Rooms are clean, spacious and nicely made.
Overall, it's a lovely property to also walk around and explore.

Cons:

There's nothing much to do in the surroundings post sunset. So best is to plan and enjoy the property and hospitality.

A great place to stay - staff kind and most helpful - we were very pleased to have chosen this hote
Pros:

The location was very good - near the sights but set in its own very well kept peaceful grounds with temples . Breakfast and dinner both also excelkent with fresh ingredients and welcome tea and snacks provided in the garden between 5 and 6 pm

a fantastic stay in an exceptional location with a welcoming manager and staff
Pros:

The place itself is superb and surprising. Previously was a residence of the Gwalior royal family. It is set in beautiful gardens with peacocks everywhere. Not only that it has its own temples and mausoleums. Fantastic! Also complimentary afternoon train the lawn. The staff and manager are not only kind and helpful but also efficient. Finally the hotel restaurant is really really good!
