Pros:

The hospitality, serenity and birds especially peacocks. Specially grateful to manager Anish.

No noisy wedding celebration on the campus, unlike other hotels.

Pros:

Food was really amazing. All meals were freshly made, hot and tasty.
Hospitality was amazing. Staff was great, also helped us to arrange cabs for us.
Rooms are clean, spacious and nicely made.
Overall, it's a lovely property to also walk around and explore.

Cons:

There's nothing much to do in the surroundings post sunset. So best is to plan and enjoy the property and hospitality.

A great place to stay - staff kind and most helpful - we were very pleased to have chosen this hote
Pros:

The location was very good - near the sights but set in its own very well kept peaceful grounds with temples . Breakfast and dinner both also excelkent with fresh ingredients and welcome tea and snacks provided in the garden between 5 and 6 pm

Beautiful setting within lovely well-kept gardens in an historic location. High tea in the garden was a relaxing experience after a busy day exploring. Food and service in the restaurant was excellent.

a fantastic stay in an exceptional location with a welcoming manager and staff
Pros:

The place itself is superb and surprising. Previously was a residence of the Gwalior royal family. It is set in beautiful gardens with peacocks everywhere. Not only that it has its own temples and mausoleums. Fantastic! Also complimentary afternoon train the lawn. The staff and manager are not only kind and helpful but also efficient. Finally the hotel restaurant is really really good!

Magnificent!
Pros:

Loved everything. What a privilege to stay n such a historic location. 15c and 17c buildings situated in grand gardens below the Fort with peacocks strutting around. Included afternoon tea on the sweeping lawns a particular treat. Several magnificent private temples are in the grounds and free to visit. Food was nice. Comfortable beds. Hot water. Good help with cars and onward travel . Private terrace ...just wonderful....now planning to stay at other historic hotels in India renovated by the same company.

Cons:

Wi Fi could have been stronger. The description of the rooms don't always match the reality. Probably because each room is unique. Also no beer available..
