Decor
Too hot with fire going in bar
A little time spent treading in the footsteps Dylan Thomas, they’ve taken care of the hotel and the room was lovely. The ‘birthday walk’ taken by the poet, would be enough to make anyone wax lyrical but test your pacemaker first!
Nothing wrong about the hotel, everything immaculate, and nice staff. The village had little sign of life after about 9pm, though, and nothing really except the cafe and shop were open the next day. Thomas himself would have found it difficult to get a drink!

Our room was comfortable but the fans from the kitchen were vibrating sounds into the room - staff kindly switched them off at night but they came on again early the next morning and woke us up- we also felt the bar smelt as if it could do with a deep clean - staff weren’t unfriendly but were not engaging
A really fantastic hotel , with all the lovely extras in the huge bedroom. Really welcoming & attentive staff, delicious food - and so reasonably priced . Can definitely recommend it 100 %.
