Central location, beautifully decorated and friendly people
Loved everything
We were warmly welcomed when we arrived at the hotel and showed up to our beautifully appointed room on the first floor. We made a reservation at the on site restaurant “Dexters” they specialise in top quality steak and we were extremely impressed with the superb quality not only of the steak itself but the excellent standard of preparation and presentation from the team in the kitchen … breakfast was a very similar experience … Hats off to the whole team, friendly, professional and clearly passionate about top quality food and customer service.

Service at breakfast could have been better. No one around to greet us and other guests for a good few minutes at 8.30, possibly because the staff member had been called away to reception or the kitchen.

Room was very hot although there were two fans in the room - they were noisy to have on through the night. Weather was exceptionally warm so in normal conditions I’m sure would be fine.

The noises in the room were quite disruptive while sleeping, I.e. the Electric pumps and fridge.
Attempting to wash in the bath being 6ft tall i found it difficult and awkward to use the bath to wash.
