Good food and beer garden, with plenty of parking.
Our room was at the top of the building and the Wi-Fi was poor up there. While the room was good the fancy role top bath with hand held spray attachment looked great but wasn’t the best for showering.
Perfect location, beautiful room, pet-friendly, amazing breakfast, and very friendly, helpful staff. I would highly recommend this hotel, and I hope to stay there again one day.
Great location

Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was of good quality and restaurant superb.
Nothing to dislike.
Lovely location and I had booked a birthday meal at Dexter’s which is attached to the Hotel so it was convenient for us to stay here. So glad we did we had a beautiful suite and an exceptional breakfast. Would highly recommend .
Nothing
Scenic location, friendly staff, comfortable bed, good restaurant food and tasty breakfast.
Noise (continual low hum) from kitchen , good to have a fan in the room but it was a very noisy one (as was the fridge).
Our room was lovely. The food - dinner and breakfast - were exceptional
Everything was as I would have wished for
It was all perfect
The food was exceptional, staff were very friendly. Quirky historical hotel.
Warm welcome from very helpful staff at historic and characterful hotel. Great bar with good beer.
Good restaurant. Location is unbeatable.

Welcoming and helpful staff, very nice room, wonderful food and atmosphere.
The staff were very friendly, and the room was brilliant, an old part of the building, very tastefully decorated with a king size bed, mini fridge, aircon, lovely bathroom and a quiet setting at the back of the hotel. There is a small car park at the back, but also parking on the street outside the hotel. the location is great for this picturesque small historic town, with a short walk to the castle, and scenic estuary. we didn't have an evening meal at the hotel, (though the menu looked great, it was a bit more expensive than we wanted to pay), instead we went to a sister establishment of the hotels, the Ty-Glo for Pizza and cocktails, which is situated on a cobbled street leading to the castle.
