Fantastisch hotel, echt een aanrader!
Pros:

Wat een fantastisch hotel met onwijs vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel!

Het inchecken verliep heel simpel. Je krijgt via de mail al een kamer toegewezen met daarbij behorend een code voor zowel de ingang als de kamer. Volop gratis parkeerplaatsen voor de deur.

Wij kregen een gratis upgrade naar een heuse suite, echt fantastisch wat een mooie kamer! Op de derde verdieping met een apart zitgedeelte, giga groot bed die heerlijk ligt en met hele goede (foam) kussens. Ook een grote badkamer die van alle gemakken is voorzien. Heel modern ingericht.

Het ontbijt is ook zeer uitgebreid en ontzettend lekker. Je kunt de gehele dag door ook gratis gebruik maken van de koffie en thee met lekkernijen in de ontbijtruimte.

Wij vlogen pas in de avond naar huis maar konden zonder problemen iets langer in de kamer blijven en daarna gebruik maken van de ontbijtruimte.

Hotel is ook centraal gelegen, ongeveer 20-25 minuten lopen naar de stad. Er is ook een groot overdekt winkelcentrum gelegen op ongeveer 10-15 minuten lopen. Het vliegveld is gelegen op ongeveer 40-45 minuten met de auto.

Cons:

Helemaal niets!

Ja wij kunnen ons voorstellen dat mensen last hebben van het lawaai van het razende verkeer in de omgeving als je de ramen open hebt, maar ja dat hoort bij een stad. Wij slapen altijd met oordoppen in en dan hoor je echt niets.

Lovely hotel and exceptional room: beautiful design, great facilities, spacious. Exceptionally clean.
Easy access from the airport. Has a lift.
Breakfast was wonderful: diverse and tasty.
Since we were jetlagged, having the coffee machine and biscuits and pastries available all night in the breakfast room was a blessing

Great first stop for our Iceland adventure
Pros:

Hotel Lotus was our first night in Iceland, and we were not disappointed. Location is good, room was clean. The bed must have been comfortable, because we slept for 11 hours! The breakfast was top-notch, and it set the standard for the rest of our breakfasts in Iceland. Such a well-laid out breakfast area, with real plates and fresh flowers.

Pros:

ホテルの建物は新しく見え、部屋も綺麗でした。値段も大変リーズナブルに感じました。フロントのスタッフはほぼ独りで、メールにセルフチェックインのような説明があったので、チェックインも人がいないのを覚悟していましたが、この一人の女性がとても働きもので、チェックインアウトの時も朝食のときも常に気持ちよく対応してくれました。ベランダがあって、そこに椅子があるのも快適でした。スーパーでは酒類が買えなかったのですが、ちゃんとワインやビールもホテル内で置いてあって、それが買えて飲めたので助かりました。部屋に湯沸しがなかったので、レストランに常備のポットのお湯を使おうと思ったら、気を効かせて湯沸しポットを貸し出してくれました。エレベーターがちゃんとあり、大きなトランクも部屋が3階でも大丈夫でした。ただ、すごく珍しいリフト形式のエレベーターで、娘は帰りは怖いーと言って乗りませんでした(笑)。

Cons:

部屋にティッシュとごみ箱がなく、あれれ?という感じでした。が、まあヨーロッパの宿なのでこんなものかなと。ごみ箱はスーパーの買い物袋で代用し、ティッシュは持ってきたポケットティッシュで事足りました。でもそれらを持ってなかったらもっとフラストレーションだったかも。我々はレンタカーでしたので、到着は平気でしたが、中心地から離れていますので、良いレストランに行きたかったらちょっと地の利は悪いところです。Hopp(電動スクーター)を利用しようとしましたが、運の悪いことに廻りにあまり停っておらず、かなり歩いて探しても電池切ればかりで、寒くて雨も降ってきたので、泣く泣く歩いて帰りました。 部屋にはもちろんスリッパは無く、私は持参していたので平気でしたが、娘は持っておらず(スリッパなんてホテルにあるでしょ?と、言うことを聞きませんでした。)ホテルの方に使いすてか貸し出しのスリッパが無いかをお尋ねしたのですが、残念ながらありませんでした。

Wonderful hospitality! We felt welcomed into this lovely hotel.
Pros:

The staff were exceptionally warm, professional, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are beautifully decorated...sleek and modern with updated bathroom design. Breakfast was a delicious and large assortment of items which were beautifully presented. We were close enough to the city center to safely walk to restaurants and shops. If you don't care to walk, taxis can get you there quickly.

Pros:

We stayed there on 2 separate occasions on this trip. The in-house breakfast was wonderful, and on our return stay, the staff member prepared a customized to-go breakfast for us, since we had an early flight. It was great.

Cons:

The room made good use of the space it had, but more space for our bags and to walk around the bed would have been nice.
