Worth your money. Beautiful. Excellent location.
Pros:

Value for money. Beautiful, comfortable room that's IG-worthy. The neighborhood is lovely too. And the staff are wonderful! They really made my stay comfortable.

The food at the cafe is also delicious.

Cons:

None. I really like staying here and would most likely choose this next time I'm in Taipei.

Kleines Hotel im Touristenviertel
Pros:

Im Stadtteil Datong gelegen mit historischen, gut erhaltenen, bzw. stilecht nachgebauten Gebäuden, liegt das DG Hotel mit Bus und MRT gut erreichbar. Die Atmosphäre im Hotel ist sehr angenehm. Die Farbgebung ist lebendig, fast verspielt. Das Personal versteht einfaches Englisch, ist dennoch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet - zur Größe siehe unter "nicht gut". Die Matratze ist klein (1,80 x 1,40m), dafür schön fest, ebenso sind die Kissen sehr fest.
Die Regenwalddusche ist fast zu groß für das kleine Zimmer, das Wasser kommt jedoch kochend heiß, wenn man möchte.
Geschäfte und Restaurants sind in der Nähe vorhanden. Der nächste Nachtmarkt - es ist der berühmte Ningxia Night Market - ist fußläufig erreichbar.

Cons:

Die Zimmergröße wurde mit 17 m² angegeben. Tatsächlich ist das Zimmer nur halb so groß, also ca. 8 m².
Das Bett ist nur 1,80m lang. Das wird für größere Menschen unbequem.
Die Zimmer im 4. Stock sind nur über mehrere steile Treppen erreichbar - der Fahrstuhl endet im 3. Stock.
Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig - Gespräche im Nachbarzimmer sind wörtlich verfolgbar. Das Piepen der Keycard beim Öffnen der Zimmer ist ebenfalls weiträumig zu hören.
Es gibt einen Wasserkocher, aber weder Tee- noch Kaffeepulver (ein Café befindet sich im Erdgeschoß). Mmh, vielleicht um Heißwasser für Tütensuppen zu machen?
