TUI BLUE Palm Beach Palace Djerba - Adults Only

Secure, clean hotel with friendly staff. Got an amazing deal through Voyage Prive so we took the opportunity to get away from the relentless rain in the UK! Food average and the hot food was often luke warm due to the buffet style restaurant. The spa is a separate entity where there is a small indoor pool. Don't expect a top class massage, they don't compare to a good UK one and it's all a bit rushed at the end. I didn't think my two massages were really worth the money - the Ayurvedic one was just a usual massage. Nothing mind, body, spirit about it at all. Top tip if you like a comfortable pillow - take your own.

We had a brilliant 2 week stay at The Tui Blue Palm Beach Palace, Djerba. Our second time at this amazing hotel. We loved every minute of our stay there, one of the best hotels we have stayed in.
The staff are the best. Tui Blue Guides, Iheb and Nourhen are always there on hand to help, with anything you want to know about the hotel and give you a tour of it when you arrive. They can also give you plenty of ideas of where to visit on Djerba island, there are so many interesting places to see, 2 weeks just wasn’t enough.
Farouk on reception is also very helpful giving information and how to book taxes to take you where you want to go.
Najeme and the other chefs in the bakery make everything all in front of you, everything is hot and fresh. From Croissants, cakes, pastries so many different breads and pizzas.
All the chefs work very hard at the cooking stations, steak, sword fish, tuna, salmon, prawns to name but a few of the excellent dishes served to perfection.
The waiters are all very helpful too, bringing water, drinks and wine to your table, Salim and all the other waiters to many to mention but all of them are brilliant.
The bar staff in the Lobby and by the pool are all very friendly they bring you drinks to you, and make the most amazing cocktails.
The Animation Team are all so much fun, they get everyone up dancing and enjoying themselves.
Moktar head of animation did a great job organising all the party nights which were fantastic and lovely decorations were put up.
Dhekra who did the fitness classes, ( which we never went to ) was also very friendly and chatted to us a lot.
The room cleaners were brilliant too. We always went back to a lovely clean and fresh smelling room.
The sunbeds were cleaned every morning, everywhere is spotless.
The photographer also very nice and does lovely photo shoots
The Manager is always on hand, very friendly and chats to the guests.
So many people who I have probably forgotten to mention. You all do a fantastic job in this beautiful hotel

What a fantastic trip we had to Djerba. Our first visit and the hotel and staff especially Dhekra who kept us busy with yoga classes. My wife has found a permanent friend as it was so easy to get along with Dhekra and all the other staff. Genuinely enjoyed spending time with us as she was picking up more English language.

We were looking for somewhere different and saw this hotel on the TUI website. After a bit of research we decided to book for 11 nights. On arrival we had some paperwork to fill in first before we were shown our room. The room didn't disappoint. It's very spacious with a balcony overlooking the garden and quiet pool area. The balcony of our room was north facing so it didn't get any sun on it but that wasn't a problem. The hotel is on the beach front and the is lovely soft white sand.
The hotel is very clean and all the staff are friendly. The majority of the guests during our stay were French with only 6 more British tourists in the hotel. The food was of a high quality with plenty to choose from and the desserts were delicious. We took part in several activities organised by the animation team and we had great fun on all of them. The animation team are friendly and enthusiastic about their work, they really made our stay. The evening entertainment was good especially the Blue party where there were people dressed in LED light costumes, one on stilts, both entertaining the guests There is music every night. All of the staff we encountered were multi lingual so communication wasn't a problem. The hotel is suitable for all adult age ranges, there's something for young and old to do. Would we stay here again? That's a definite yes. We couldn't fault anything about the hotel

Absolutely fantastic hotel, exceeded all our expectations. The food is great, we've not had a bad meal. The animation team are friendly and enthusiastic and we always have fun with them whatever the activity. All in all I would definitely return again in the future

Great staff - Very warm and super friendly!Fabulous programmes (if you like that kind of thing!) Have enjoyed Mobility, Light Fitness, Aquafit and probably my favourite was my first belly dance class with Dhekra! So much fun! 😊💃

Just arrived in he hotel. Everyone is very welcoming. We arrived late and still got to experience the rich dinner buffet and breakfast this morning was just all you can wish for.

The hotel is inviting, very clean and people are very attentive and friendly.
The location is fantastic, the beach is stretching wide and we still have to try out the sea.

Swimming pools are beautiful, with mature palm trees in the garden. Looking forward to the rest of the week. Special thanks to Messaoud who has been introducing and welcoming us to this beautiful place.

Nice Food, white Beach, beautiful Pool and very good Service and Entertainment, espacialy Coach Daily - very thanks for your fittness training, your Party Entertainment and the Language lessons!!!
Nice Place to be for Holiday

Hotel ist very nice, good staff and gut Service. I will come back next year. The Animation and Sport is beautiful. I made Aqua Gym and Yoga. Trainer Aroussia is a very good Trainer. The Christmas Night was a very good Organisation and Dinner.

Arroussia very good coach very nice adapted aquagym courses, good exercices, Patience to explain, friendly, helpful,

- food was good
- clean hotel
- animation team was very nice & funny
- activities were organized and varied
- shows and the music were entertaining

Second visit to TUI Blu and still a nice and not so British touristy place, mainly frequented by French and German guests. With that in mind the staff do tend to focus their attention on guests from those countries and this can be frustrating at times when the bar waiter staff seem to serve every other table. Try not to be offended by this as I suspect it’s due to us Brits being less likely to speak up and request table service, and/or French and German being the languages the staff are more confident with. I would say last year there were a lot more staff excited to try their English though and so were more attentive and friendly.
The Flamingo afternoon snack restaurant and Pool Bar staff are all lovely though. I didn’t catch all their names but I think Sabri is the lovely guy with glasses and hat who always smiles and serves drinks around the pool. Waldi and Jokhtar (I think are their names) who worked in the Flamingo restaurant were also really attentive, smiling, joking and making sure my husband got the bigger beer glass! I also had a lovely chat to the chef at the BBQ meal too. The tall man who works at the reception is also worth noting as he remembered me from the previous year and always asked if everything was ok for us. The lovely photographer also remembered we never wanted our pictures taken from the previous year but was always so pleasant greetings us with a smile in the evening.

Now the negatives:
I respect that bikinis and swim shorts can’t be worn at the main bar but got a very snotty response from one of the bar staff when I requested a coffee on my way back from the gym when he brought the sign right up to me. I was wearing a gym top and shorts! I think this was stretching the rules a bit as I was intending to just take the coffees back to the room. Needless to say I didn’t go back the next day, even though this hadn’t been a problem I had faced on days prior to this.
A few reviews seem to praise the entrainment, in particular Mohamed. This was not my experience. I didn’t find he was respectful of me being there with my husband, to the point I was quite uncomfortable. The entertainment team overall was less present and engaging, seeming to just dance once people were already up. During the day they seemed to just go directly to scheduled activities without speaking to guests. This is a shame as last year Rico/Rabie was out all day and evening talking to guests of all nationalities, always with energy, a smile and was very respectful.
The hotel is also starting to look a little tired. There was a light on the steps hanging out with wires for a couple of days. The drains in the bathroom gurgled and took ages for water to go down in the room. The toilet near the pool was blocked and flooded for a couple of days. Most worryingly there was an electrical fault leading to smoke on the first and second floor near our rooms but staff didn’t seem to have a plan for informing people about this and just kept saying don’t worry it’s no problem. No smoke alarms went off either. I’ve been to hotels where managers walk around all day long checking everything was in place, but this didn’t seem to happen here.

The entertainment team is just the best, sweetest guys! We really enjoyed our game of petanque with our new french friends and particularly Nassim and Dally made our experience really special. Fab hotel, very relaxing and nothing too much trouble for the team.

Superb experience with the team at TUI Blue the past week! Everything I was looking for a bit of winter sun. Great value for money. Superb food options every day. Incredibly friendly team - Tunisian hospitality is up there with the best. The 'animations' team were always bringing the party. Big hand to Nassim and Daly - the friendliest faces. No qualms in recommending Djerba for a bolt hole in the winter 🙌

The hotel really exceeded our expectations for the price we paid.
Fantastic room with plenty of space and very clean! Even the cleaners did some little extra touches to make it special. The beach and pools are great with bars at both..
The all inclusive is one of the best we have had, we don't usually go all inclusive because we are generally disappointed.
All the hotel is lovely, clean and well maintained.
The staff are all extremely friendly! We wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend this hotel

I love this hotel, the rooms are spacious and clean. There are many facilities, location is great, and the private beach is very calm with a beautiful clear water. The food is great, and they offer quite a few vegetarian options. There's so much animation all day, from different sports (yoga, pilates, beach volley, hiit classes) to evenings events such as themed parties. Thanks to Nassim and Mohammed for the amazing entertainment and making the party happen every night! Would definitely stay again as this was great value for money.

I loveeee this hotel, the rooms are so big and beautiful, the food is great, but the best part are the evenings — the animation team is so fun and they really make the party happen!!! Super fun nights there, the entertainment is amazing :) Nassim and Mohammed, thanks for animating the crowd, see you next year or sooner!!!

The room was very spacious
Plenty to do around the hotel if you want to join the activities
Always plenty of sun loungers available at the poolside/ garden/ or on the beach. There is camel or horse riding available on the beach, as well as other activities
Auri is always around the main pool with a pleasant smile to bring drinks from the bar
There is a massive selection of food in the restaurant
We booked for the bbq in the Flamingo and to dine in the Olivia which was fantastic
All the staff were friendly and efficient
We were on first name terms with Louay and Aziz at the bar, who were brilliant
Everywhere was very clean
Would definitely recommend this hotel
