Please note that the main road from Santa Marta is under construction and guests are advised to take 4x4 cars to get to the property.

Foreigners and Colombians who do not live in Colombia must show their passports with the PIP-5 or PTP-5 stamps, or Visa TP-11 to avoid being charged VAT at the check in time.

Pros:

The facilities were nicely designed with attention to detail.

Cons:

Our room faced the main road to Minca on one side and the reception area on the other side so we had noise coming from both areas during the day. We were actually surprised how close the road noise feels regardless of the lush vegetation around our unit! This was dissapointing as we were expecting a very serene atmosphere.

Buenas vistas
Pros:

Las vistas de la habitación son muy bonitas y el lugar te hace sentir en medio de la selva. Es un sitio tranquilo y el desayuno está bastante bien.

Cons:

El ruido de la cama es inadmisible. Crujía al más mínimo movimiento y como está todo abierto, se oían las camas de las demás habitaciones. Hay zonas de la mosquitera que están rotas. El sitio del desayuno está un poco lejos.

Pros:

Beautiful view from most bungalows, and especially from restaurant. Nice to relax in hammock on balcony. Short walking distance (less than 10 minutes) to shops, restaurants, cafes etc in Minca - but would not say good location given the noise (see below).

Cons:

The overall experience was disappointing . We booked and paid for 2 nights but left after the first night. On the basis of the photos, the setting seems idyllic, but we did not find it idyllic at all. The view is beautiful, but the cottages have bug screens for windows so you hear everything and unfortunately that’s a lot more than the soothing sound of chirping insects: you are right next to the Santa Marta - Minca main road below and also pretty close to restaurants/ bars/houses so it’s very noisy both at day and at night with lots of traffic on the road, loud music, barking dogs and partying people. Had a bad night. Not what we expected at all when looking at the photos of this place. If you choose a Minca hotel, we would recommend looking for a place much further away from the road and noise. The rooms are basic. We had two cottages, one had hot water, the other didn’t. The restaurant was only open for breakfast. The mosquitos are bad, wear repellent!

Pros:

Echt een ervaring om hier te slapen! Het uitzicht vanuit de hut, de omgeving: prachtig! De hut was comfortabel en zag er mooi uit. We hebben er lekker geslapen. En je loopt makkelijk Minca in. In het donker teruglopen is ook goed te doen.

Cons:

Het was een beetje zoeken met de klamboes die niet helemaal sloten. In dit gebied zitten veel muggen. Ben je ervan bewust dat er geen airco is. 's nachts hadden we hier geen last van. Het koelde prima af (en er waren ventilatoren). Maar overdag was het echt warm.

Great views and staff. Excellent location. Rustic setting and rooms a real plus.
Pros:

Great views and location. Easy walk to village (without luggage). collectivo from Santa Marta gets you close.

Cons:

Sheets were not cotton, so hot. Sound proofing needs to be improved for next door rooms.

Un bel endroit à Minca
Pros:

Vue magnifique.

Cons:

Cela ne nous a pas dérangé mais à savoir qu'il y a beaucoup d'escaliers. Pas vraiment de personnel chaleureux même si nous avons apprécie de pouvoir arriver tardivement.

Aventura en la selva
Pros:

Paramos en una cabaña de dos plantas, con muy buena vista, dos hamacas para descansar y buenas camas para la noche. El lugar es accesible, el taxi llega hasta la puerta y la gente del lugar es predispuesta para alcanzarte las maletas hasta la habitación, ya que hay algunas escaleras y rampas largas. El desayuno lo ofrecen en otro espacio, bastante a la entrada. Hay que saber que siempre hay que bajar y subir, porque las cabañas están distantes entre sí y el desayunador. El personal es excelente, nos hicieron sentir muy bien.

Cons:

Hay que saber que hay cierta precariedad por el lugar donde se encuentran las cabañas. No hay que esperar lujo sino un espacio sencillo con el encanto de parar en una zona selvática aunque está muy cerca del pueblo y se puede ir y venir caminando. Lamentablemente uno de los días se cortó la electricidad en toda la zona, por lo tanto también el wifi, y eso obligó a que bajara al pueblo con oscuridad para buscar algo de comer, pese a que llevé una linterna, y hubo que esperar varias horas hasta que volviera la electricidad. Al parecer es algo que suele ocurrir cada tanto y el hotel no cuenta con equipo electrógeno para estas emergencias.

Pros:

La posizione, comoda e il signor Edwin che offriva il servizio taxi.

Cons:

Noi abbiamo preso l'appartamento per avere maggior confort e il prezzo non era proprio economico rispetto a quello che abbiamo trovato: innanzitutto la casa non aveva le finestre. Quello che si vede in foto non sono vetrate ma zanzariere per di piu tutte bucate e tra una zanzariera e l altra c'erano delle fessure dalle quali entravano gli insetti. Va da se che entra sporcizia in continuazione e l'ambiente diventa poco accogliente e poco confortevole ed è estremamente umido. Siamo stati massacrati di mosquitos tutta la notte. Mancava la carta igienica, la manopola dell'acqua della doccia non si può regolare. Il tetto non è ermetico.

Un séjour dans un paradis au milieu des oiseaux
Pros:

Cet hôtel est situé dans la nature à 5min à pied du centre de Minca et de plein de petites rando à faire jusqu'à des sites superbes.La chambre était un petit havre de paix avec un balcon et un hamac!
Le personnel était aux petits soins.

Cons:

Ce n'est pas très grave mais sur 4 nuits il y a eu 3 coupures d'électricité le soir donc penser à prendre une lampe torche!
