Niet je geld waard

De locatie en het bed.

Cons:

Geen ramen die open kunnen in de kamer en dat staat bij de boeking nergens aangegeven .
De kamer is tussendoor niet schoon gemaakt en we verbleven 2 nachten.
Van beide ochtenden hadden we geen warm water.
We moesten dan wachten van het personeel maar na een uur nog geen warm water.
Dus 2 dagen ijskoud douchen.
Na dit allemaal 2 keer te hebben aangegeven is er niets mee gegaan.
Bij vertrek was er geen manager en moesten we onze ervaring delen via een e-mail en dan zou het netjes opgelost worden. Niks meer van vernomen na 2 verzonden e-mails. Erg jammer van ons dure weekendje Antwerpen.

Lovely hotel, great location, fantastic staff.
Pros:

Having lived for several years in Antwerp about 40 years ago, I knew the location of this hotel was ideal for getting around the city - especially the quaint old areas near to the cathedral. The hotel itself is a beautifully renovated old bank with a fabulous entrance area, a lovely bar & restaurant, plus a feature has been made of the original vault area in the basement! We stayed for 5 nights - 1 night in a ‘cosy room’ and 4 nights in a deluxe room. The beds in both rooms were super-kings & exceptionally comfortable, with the best pillows we’ve ever had in a hotel. The cosy room was small - ideal for a weekend stay. We preferred the deluxe as it had much more space and a larger shower/bathroom for a longer stay. Both rooms were very clean. All of the staff at the hotel were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant one evening and it was excellent. This place is exceptionally good value for money.

Cons:

Everything was good - and I have never been able to write this for any other hotel we’ve stayed at over the years (& we travel a great deal).

Historical building (a former bank) with lovely foyer and reception area. Beautiful courtyard to the rear. Very friendly and helpful staff. Super location as an very easy stroll to the Grote Markt and old town, river and most other sights.

Luxury hotel situated a short walk from the Grote Markt and the cathedral. Staff were just exceptional, super helpful, willing to assist and provided great local tips. The whole establishment is tastefully fitted out , and super comfortable. Beds and pillows simply superb. True Value for the quality ( especially compared to Amsterdam and Brussels ) Simply, one of the most welcoming places I’ve ever stayed
