Great choice, if you are looking for a small, cozy place in a lively neighbourhood.
Pros:

The hotel is located in a very lively area with lots of bars, cafés & little restaurants around. We enjoyed that - but keep in mind that it can be quite loud during the evening.
The inner patio was really nice! We enjoyed that as well.
Staff was helpful & friendly, and they seemed to be very solution-oriented in case issues came up.
As stated on our booking, our room was located in the side building, which did not have private bathrooms - the community bathrooms were clean & there were enough towels around. (If you prefer a rooms with a private bathroom, I would suggest to book early on - we made reservations quite late and therefore missed this opportunity. A private bathroom would have been nice, of course.)
We once had breakfast at the hotel, which we booked separately. Breakfast was good - as mentioned before, the area offers a variety of cafés as well, if you prefer that.

Cons:

Some minor inconveniences: Due to the warm weather, our room was a bit too warm during the night - even with an open window. If you sensitive to noise, that could be an issue.
There was a safe, but it did not work properly.
The drain of one of the community showers did not work properly either, but I think the hotel was working on that, when we left.

Wir waren zufrieden, nicht mehr, aber auch nicht weniger.
Pros:

Das Hotel ist super zentral und dabei relativ ruhig gelegen. Unser Zimmer war ausreichend groß, leider gab es keine Kofferablage und auch die Schrankfläche (Abseite mit Lamellentür) war klein. Das Mobiliar ist bereits in die Jahre gekommen, das aber war jedoch sehr sehr bequem.

Keine Kofferablage, Schrank zu klein, das Mobiliar ist bereits in die Jahre gekommen. Leider wurde wir Zeuge einer sehr unprofessionellen Umgangsweise mit reklamierenden Gästen. Das war etwas erschreckend. Jeglicher Lösungsansatz, der von den Gästen unterbreitet wurde - leider nicht vom Hotel-Team - wurde als nicht möglich abgetan. Und das mit einer völligen Gleichgültigkeit. Erschreckend. Darüber hinaus wurde uns vom Hotel ein Parkhaus um die Ecke empfohlen, was bei Google als totale Touristen-Abzocke mit 1,4 Sternen bewertet ist. Ich nehme an, dass dies dem Hotel bekannt sein dürfte.

Pros:

Super beliggehed midt i Aarhus' latinerkvarter, hvor der er mange gode butikker, bagerier, restauranter m.m. Hotellet er også indrettet på en meget charmerende måde, med vintage-stil, møbler.

Cons:

Sengen var meget hård.

Clean and well located small hotel with a friendly and personal vibe
Pros:

Friendly staff, perfect location for being both in town and close proximity to the university. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, pleasant breakfast.

Cons:

I wanted to be able to turn the heat completely off but I was not able to do that.

we really enjoyed our stay at the SOFS! Rooms are furnished in a beautiful style; comfortable beds. Good breakfast and nice staff. Just a few steps to shops, restaurants and cafés and a parking garage nearby.
I can highly recommend this place!

Skuffende. Ikke velegnet til arbejdsrejse
Pros:

God service, god beliggenhed. Dele af morgenmaden lækker

Cons:

Værelse 16 var så koldt at jeg sov med to dyner og uldtrøje. Det trak kraftigt ind under døren. Ikke muligt at sidde med en computer og arbejde og ingen åbne fællesarealer heller om aftenen. Ikke muligt at låne strygejern. Tørt morgenbrød
