CHECK inn Taipei Main Station

The only con side of this hotel is the room is small. The staff is nice!

Nice location ! Walking distance to train station and buses stops nearby. Restaurants around with many choices. Staff are very friendly, room is clean and comfortable.

It's a good hotel in a convenient and quiet location. The hotel is next to 2.28 park and museum and a fewinute walk from the subway station. Ten minutes walk from Taipei main station so I could catch a train back to the airport easily. The room is clean and tidy but no changing space. If two people stay, one person needs to look away. Bed is very comfy and towels are changed everyday without asking. The wall is a bit thin and I could hear all noise from using the facility and conversation but nobody stayed next to me, so it's fine. The restaurant downstairs offer decent food in a clean environment.if you like to try local food but not so keen on stepping in a small and a bit rundown restaurant, this one is a good alternative. There are lots of eateries and cafes and close to Xian men. Overall, I'm happy to stay at this hotel again.

Happy with our stay in this hotel. Reception staff have good customer service. The location of the hotel is ideal for Taipei main station.

Clean room also nice employees but not with nice view as described which I expected perhaps it must be top floor. Overall , good hotel for a single person.

Very much enjoyed our stay! The park across the street was cute and it was close to the metro! Would definitely recommend it especially for the price. My only caution would be avoid if you’re an anxious pooper lol. The room had bathroom stall and shower stall in them BUT the toilet was super nice so I’d call it a trade off lol. Would still recommend. Thanks for having us!

Staffs are nice ,but the room 912 is super crowded. Very small. If you travel with suitcase, for two people, must avoid this room! We couldn’t open our suitcases in the same time. And the showeroom design is not reasonable , no matter how tight you shut the door, the waiter is going outside anyway, and environment is noisy. We can easily heard everything passing by. Please re organize the layout of room912. Not worthy for its price at all.

The hotel was easy to find. The hotel room was clean and spacious for solo traveler.

Great location, very friendly and relaxed atmosphere - staff were super helpful. Bedroom was large and bed was comfortable. They were renovating the lobby (which caused no problems for our stay) so it should be even better in the future. Overall, good value - not a high-end hotel but a very comfortable and very convenient place to stay in Taipei - perfect for what we wanted.

The hotel is centrally located and very modern. The only comment I have is that they don’t clean the room during the stay.

There was loud noises from the next door bathroom from certain period other than that sound proofing is not too bad (considering my room is next to the lift).

Expect loud water/bathroom noises in the AM and PM whe people return to their rooms.

228 park opposite is known for "night activities" and I have been warned to not walk there alone late at night otherwise it feels safe.

We were assigned a room with loud noise in the ventilation outlet like someone keeps using the hair dryer. What’s worse is we can hear the water usage next door, as if you’re in a shower room.
In the cold evening, we can’t adjust the room temperature. The staff explained to us that we can switch to fan mode and adjust the fan only because there is no heating. It’s funny that the panel seems to have all functions.
Also the tv volume can’t be adjusted, so we have to bear with the very low volume.
None of these were told to us when we check in. Instead the check in lady told us that if we lose our room key we have to pay $500 NTD.
We were so disappointed and could not sleep at all at night, and expressed our plan to leave the hotel. Then we were moved to a different room the next day. The noise is smaller but still there. At that time we just want to finish this nightmare and never deal with Check Inn again.
I understand the property is old. However, the staff’s “not my fault” attitude really ruined my appetite.

This hotel is right in the heart of the city. Food, transportation, and sightseeing options were many steps away. I loved my stay at this location.

Noisy next door! I think the wall between both our rooms is not thick enough so that the sound proof is bad! The whistling/humming sound from the tap next door was very loud that you can hear it very clearly
