Pros:

Easy to check in and check out, well equipped, fast and stable wifi connectivity. The hotel has laundry which is free to use.

Cons:

There was a fire alarm test for about half an hour one day. I know that it has to be done in a specific time period, but it was still inconvenient. Also some kind of maintenance works have been done one day which resulted in an annoying hammering noice at around 22:30 in the evening. I mentioned both to the Apartments, who politely apoligized for the inconvenience and promised that they will make sure that it won't happen again in the future.

Would never stay again
Pros:

This apartment did not have a proper bathroom door. It was a sliding door with no lock. I asked to change to a proper bathroom door but no reply. This was no suitable for us and I don’t understand why this would be considered ok

The apartment is a good size, the parking is free, heating was good, I heard very little noise from other oartments and I liked the proximity to Bonus and Lindabakerei for affordable lunches, Icelandic cakes and coffee

Cons:

Bathroom door meant for no privacy
Rooms not cleaned but most annoyingly towels were not changed over 5 days and due to the shower being blocked, they were constantly wet and dirty. Couldn’t even wash them ourselves as washing machine constantly in use.

Didn’t reply to my request to change room for a private bathroom
Didn’t give a free early check in. Costs them nothing extra as room was available but they wanted 45 Euros.
We also left really early so feel like they’d have lost nothing and could have done this for us.

Feels like profit is at the centre of this operation and not treating customer well

Pros:

Posizione ottima per raggiungere la capitale e per le varie escursioni. Struttura pulita, luminosa, possibilita' di cucinare un must. Parcheggio comodo. Accanto a supermercato BONUS e panetteria con buoni prezzi.

Pros:

Beautiful apartment. View was absolutely beautiful and location was great

Cons:

When we first got there we had to clean the eating utensils and the dinner wear. There was lots of food residue on it. Thats about it. Otherwise it was amazing 😍

Zwischenstopp mit Aussicht
Pros:

Aufgrund einer Flugverspätung mussten wir einen Übernachtungsstopp einlegen. Dafür war das Appartement super. Tolle Aussicht, Supermarkt und Bäcker vor der Tür und verkehrstechnisch gut gelegen. Die Betten waren hervorragend!

Cons:

Es roch sehr aus den Badezimmerabflüssen. Aber nachdem wir die verschlossen hatten, ging es.

Fairly nice place for long-term stay
Pros:

Spacious, laundry facility (bring your own laundry detergent), close to Bonus, close to the city (direct +- 30mins bus ride), fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom, and responsive staff.

Cons:

This place is not too bad at all. Slightly cheaper than Reykjavik and the location is not bad at all. The only downside I could think of is the bed & pillow is too soft for my liking.
